R1 did have a good story it was just a little boring hearing the voice overs after playing games like Bioshock. I think that they gave Bioshock a higher score because the game has more offensive options to the very tried and true mechanics of R2.
What did they give LBP? R2 looks like it's going to be good.
I have to say that the reviewer for that game has had consistent unbiased opinions on all games he reviews and I think that he is the only truly unbiased reviewer on that site him and Torres who could careless about what system the game is on if its great its great. Look at the reviews he does you'll see what I mean the new Kasavin and Gertsman.
The truth is that a western console maker has never been in the lead before and the western sites want this trend to stay. Not to mention that for the capabilities of the Xbox and live the system is quite good. Sony has great first party games that tempt many to purchase the system so many even editors do not want to shell out the cash to get a PS3. I cannot emphasize enough that price more than anything else has held Sony back even more than an early lack of compeling software. What I'll say...
LBP if successful could show that non-violent games have a huge place in gaming. You just have to put the package together right and market well.

@the used version I respect your analysis and I believe it is genuine. What you've stated as lacking in the beta we hope they rectify in the final release but kudos for your honesty.
I just had to comment on those downplaying wifi. That is a huge feature especially in light of the comparison between the 360 and the PS3. The price of the 360 goes through the roof when you include life and all the peripherals like the wifi adapter, live, batterpacks etc.....
They should not release a game that is unfinished. They should have waited. You can only review a game based on the code presented to them and that's the score they gave. OH WELL!!!!!!!! P.S. I do still think they are biased to the 360 though.
Gameplay something like the Tales series would be nice. This looks good though!

You have to pay for live and not PSN.
Games have come a long way and there is no excuse for a lacklustre story. Games are rivaling the movie industry even surpassing it dollar for dollar so there is no excuse. I hope that games are not just built for the MP only because that just sucks I love to remember a game that impacted me like FF7 and the MGS series not just that I sawed someone in half.

The lead platform decisions are based on two major factors ease of use and the install base that's why you'll find that last gen most if not all multiplats were lead on the PS2.
@ green your right. The thing is the game is huge but not oblivion like in interaction that's why to me oblivion is still the bench mark for interaction in a video game and all devs should expand on what they've done.
I still want this game to play online for the time being till SF4 comes out and they better get this out in the next week cause NOV is going to busy for every gamer.

Do we forget that games are supposed to be intuitive and fun for them to be good? Look MS PR is just that.
Why is this game still viewed as an exclusive? It's a multiplat of a GREAT GAME!!!!!!!!!! Get over it. IF IT'S GREAT IT WILL ALWAYS BE GREAT for one reason or another.
