The game will not fail. Clear your heads from fanboy jargin. GEARS2 AND FABLE 2 WILL BE GOOD, LBP, MOTORSTORM, R2 AND WIPEOUT ARE GOOD. Give your due to good games KZ2 will be incredible at the very least from a immersion standpoint due to the graphics. If the gameplay is there this is a AAA title. Its got everything except my hands on the controler at this point.

Nintendo are pioneers and innovators in gaming. Sony is now coming of age in making IPs that are outside the box because they are now comfortable taking risks. Nintendo has been know to do this from the outset so Kudos to Sony for taking a chance on this excellent dev team. Nintendo will not even copy this game because they would be pleased to see this game do well. They want to see gaming expand and this will help the industry.
Sony is keeping quiet for a reason they have something cooking and its going to be big it just takes more time to design something really innovative. Xbox will plateau and I think it is right now. They ripped MIIs and some XMB stuff ripped the eye toy lastly they'll try and rip motion control. Sony never lost you just have to choose whether you want 360, WII or PS3 exclusives. Unless you have all three then the point is mute.
R2 is going to be awsome but LBP is still game of the year IMO. I'm getting both but this news is incredible I enjoyed R1 more than I thought I would and I know I'm going to love this one.
M$ now has to let the games do the talking they have cut the price down so low that you really cannot get lower than this if they still fail to win this gen they just plain failed. They came out first have had a descent lineup of games, live etc.... If they lose this gen they just lost.
How many times do the uninformed have to know that M$ is full of poopoo for puting out this SKU. They have ruined many games by not including an HD. This is a first day buy for the headset alone. The game is a bonus. If its good (probably is), will be a great bonus.
Graphics don't make a great game but, by the previews recently there seems to be something atmospheric about this title that will bring in a new sense of immersion. Still probably one of the best multiplayer FPSs once it comes out, but I'm in it for the single player experience. They really haven't showed anything about this game as yet and I have a feeling there is a lot that they are hiding that will drop some jaws.

Quantum theory does look good and it's good to have an exclusive coming to the PS3 at least for now but geez the way its going in the game industry of late I wouldn't hold my breath on that notion though!
This is not the GOTY. Graphically yes its impressive but it will play like the old one with some new shooting thrills from other great games nothing original here. The characters look just like UT3 characters too many shared assets now they've used this aesthetic so there stuck with this for Gears 3 too.
Judge every game on its own merits.
Truth probably is that they rated LBP too low and now they had to underate this seeing as it is a sequel and not an original ground breaking game. They do this too often and now some will think that this game isn't great and that's not true. The depth of combat and exploration alone should give this a 9. The problem is that I hope it's because there are games that are actually better than this that they are reviewing ie. Fallout 3 that make this score make sense and LBP for that matter.
