Sounds like someone is having an early April Fool's laugh at the expense of this website. I could see Zelda64 being released on the DS, as the graphics wouldn't need to be tweaked heavily. To re-make it on Wii, they'd have to use the Twilight Princess engine, and I think they'd likely prioritize making a new entry in the series over a port if they were going to have to put that much effort into it. Also, the description of the game shipping with "a peripheral that would have "flute ...
I'd definitely have to disagree with that one. While I liked Half-Life and HL2 (L4D was just ok IMO), they can't undo decades of gaming perfection (Kid Dracula, Castlevania, Contra, Silent Hill, Metal Gear, etc). Half-Life was innovative and great to play, but I really have no desire to go back and replay any of the series; I can't the same about the previously mentioned Konami titles.
Well Konami is a Japanese company, so it's not hard to see why their loyalty and confidence rests primarily with the Japanese hardware developers. Unlike SE, it seems like Konami isn't going to shun the companies that have helped them become what they are today.
"Furthermore, the PS3 with its fee for online content for publishers just made it virtually impossible for PS3 owners to get free DLC."
^
That's not entirely true, the fee is (from what I understand) only for content exceeding 1GB. That's a lot of free room to work with; developers could always split free DLC into multiple "packs" to avoid this (if I'm understanding how the fee system works correctly). I can't say I disagree with Sony on implementing ...
I think it's fairly pathetic that the 360 doesn't support wifi out of the box when the Wii, DS, PSP, and even iPod Touch do. First they make you pay for the wireless adapter...then they make you pay for the ability to play online. I'm sensing a trend here.
Why is he holding a cane in that close-up image? His sword didn't have a hooked handle like that in MGS4. At any rate, I wouldn't mind seeing Raiden take the lead in the next Metal Gear game; I remember playing MG: VR missions on PS1 for weeks to unlock the ninja missions only to have my memory card accidentally erased a few days later. I've always thought Grey Fox (the original cyborg ninja) would be a cool character to explore as well (only if the game was a prequel, obviously, as he is kil...
So is this game really region locked like the article indicates? I'd love to download this on my euro account, but I don't want to waste my money if it's region locked.
Another blogger with a stupid opinion...of course games have bugs and glitches, coders can't account for every single insignificant input variation in every single situation from every user. Just because a game freezes one time out of a hundred, doesn't mean it should be crucified for it, every game has glitches. Films have been produced in their current state for decades, games as an entertainment medium are still in their early stages. It's really an apples to oranges comparison anyways, no...
I don't think Firefox is going anywhere. When I was in college, my school even had Firefox as the default browser campus-wide. I highly doubt Chrome has seen enough exposure or had enough success to be on the radar as a replacement for Firefox; personally I haven't even tried it as I don't fix what isn't broken (Firefox). That said, the latest version of Firefox crashes daily for me...at least it saves my tabs lol.
I just picked up a DSlite in anticipation of the DSi. No, not because I want a DSi, but because I think it's stupid to not have a GBA slot on the new model. The GBA had a lot of great games (for a portable), and with SNES DS emulators sucking so horribly, you wont be able to play Zelda:LttP, Mario World, Yoshi's Island, etc without GBA support. Adding an SD slot doesn't make up for removing the GBA; if I want to listen to music, I'll use my iPod, not a portable GAMING system.
LOL at "You found 3X Coke."
This article fails to mention a pretty major difference in the two handhelds: the DSi doesn't have GameBoy Advance support. That is a pretty big downside in my opinion...
Wow, that list was full of fail.
On the off chance you end up near someone hostile to you and get PK'd, you really don't loose anything anyways, so I wouldn't sweat it. Unless you're worried about someone gloating about having your ear in their possession...
Wow, that is a sick statue. Despite how impractical it would be, it's a damn cool piece of Fallout memorabilia (good luck getting laid with it in your house though lol).
Well at least I just saved $60. After playing the demo, I already decided against picking this one up. My only hesitation was wanting to know the story and, hell, it wasn't even worth reading. It's a shame to see this franchise go so far south.
I hope the PS3 is the new Dreamcast because that console was ill (aside from dying out WAY before its time).
The durability factor is one of the reasons I wouldn't want to rely on an iPhone as my cell. That said, if you are are prone to dropping your phone or other mobile devices, you should probably avoid a device that is basically a huge piece of glass that contains expensive electronics. The quality of the provided accessories really can't be held against the device itself; if you don't like them, buy third party replacements that better suit your needs. Also, why are random blog posts that nitpi...
Isn't there some loophole that allows you to get the iPhone with the contract and keep it as long as you cancel the contract within 3 days? Just wondering because even without phone service, it's basically like getting an iPod Touch (with a camera as well, which the Touch doesn't have) for next to nothing.
That was a fairly weak attempt at April Fool's humor...on a serious note, it's not like the remaining two classes are much of a mystery. Every Diablo game thus far has had the rouge/amazon class, and with the Witchdoctor replacing the Necro (and Barb and Sorceress [Wizard] already accounted for), I'd be willing to bet that the Paladin is the remaining class. I'd assume we may see a return of the assassin (hopefully not the druid lol) in a later expansion.
