I'd like to pick up a PSP Go, but not at the $250 price point. That's going to have to drop quite a bit before it appeals to me. I've never had a PSP, always considered getting one but never pulled the trigger. Jacking the price from $169 to $250 surely isn't going to convert me.

I copped my PS3 right after the $100 price drop, no regrets...I knew it would likely be cheaper in the future but I didn't feel like waiting years to see what Sony had up it's sleeve this gen. I also got a free extra Sixaxis and the 5 free (although not very good) Blu-Ray movies from the blu-summer promotion, so I didn't end up with the worst deal, especially since it's a 60gb (backward compatibility ftw).

Does the lack of a UMD drive mean this unit will have significantly better battery life than the 1000-3000 models?

Wow, that new Metroid was not at all what I expected...looks pretty sweet. I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't see a new Wii Zelda, but at least Nintendo gave us SOMETHING this year. On topic: wtf is the point of that pulse tracker? I don't see how that possibly relates to real gaming, especially if it monopolizes an entire hand that could be using the nunchuck instead.

Battletoads is one of my all time favorite games. Yes, it was hard as hell and you rarely got past the third stage, but it was (and still is) a blast. This writer is also greatly exaggerating the pitfalls of co-op as well, if you are conscious of the fact that you can harm your teammate, you will rarely encounter a problem on that front. Games today hold your hand and give you a checkpoint for every five minutes of watered-down gameplay; back in the NES's glory day, you actually had to have s...

If this article is insinuating an XBL re-release of Perfect Dark 64 then I have mixed feelings about this potential release. I loved this game 10 years ago--however, unless it has revamped controls, it will have no value outside of nostalgia. N64 gameplay/graphics were great in their day, but shooters have since evolved so much that this game will play terribly if it isn't given a next-gen facelift. Don't get me wrong, I played the hell out of this game when it first came out (FarEye ftw), bu...

Worthless "article" is worthless.

Wow, wtf was this developer thinking making a game like this without local co-op? Even if it was just an average hack-and-slash RPG, local co-op would've made it worth the price. I really need a next-gen Gauntlet or Diablo III right about now...

I still prefer XP, but my current desktop came with Vista64-bit and it's alright. The GUI and auto-recognition of input is much more simple (which does me no good, as I was already used to Win98-XP style GUI and functions), but the compatibility is horrible. I still can't play Diablo II or Q3A on Vista without it crashing or refusing to run. I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling burned by Vista, seeing how it's no better today than it ever has been (in my opinion), and they're already releasi...

Wow, that was a major letdown...I've been hoping for a RE2 or 3 remake for a while now and was happy to see the headline. Too bad it's a complete error.

I'd have to agree on Fatal Frame 4; it's already been developed and released in Japan, just give us an English language version ffs. I also think it's about time we got a new Wii Zelda title; I like Mario, but he's been whored out in enough games for a little while.

Q3A is my personal favorite; I'd still rather play it over any modern multiplayer FPS to this day. Rail guns on the longest yard FTW

I'd be excited about this if I didn't still have physical PS1 discs for those games and a PS3 with backwards compatibility...but even still, I'm glad Sony is finally giving gamers what they want. No real excuse for not releasing these classics on PSN so people who missed them initially can finally experience some of the best games ever made.

I still prefer the NES controller...can't beat the D-pad on that beast and the way the buttons are contoured make it the ultimate gaming input device.

I thought digital distribution was stupid before messing around with the AppStore on the iPhone (no, I'm not advocating it as a gaming device over a PSP or DS, the games are extremely shallow). For a handheld device, I wouldn't mind the library being distributed solely by downloads, assuming the developers pass some of the distribution savings on to the consumers. If it saves me money, I'll take simply having the file over a hard-copy as long as they allow you to re-download content you have ...

I hope CompUSA makes a comeback just because after Circuit City's demise, BestBuy has no real competition (and thus can take advantage of the situation by screwing consumers). They definitely need to make some changes to be successful (always seemed to have higher prices than BB/CC), but if they restructure intelligently, I'd be glad to see them reopen. I've also never seen a Fry's before (I'm from the south east US), but I'd be just as glad to see them expand to my area to fill the CC void. ...

Damn, I didn't even get a manual with my used copy of GTA4...let alone four free rolls. Maybe next time this dude won't buy 18+ games for his preteen kid.

I read somewhere that you can play mp3s on the DSi via the SD card. I'd be willing to bet it doesn't sound that great on such tiny speakers, however. If you want a DS to be a media player, just get an R4 card and you can watch movies, play music, and play homebrew/backups.

Damn, the Wii is catching the shaft from good developers. I haven't even turned mine on since Mario Kart and I don't see anything good on the horizon. Ironically, I was actually hoping Nintendo might have a secret Star Fox game up their sleeve...

Wow what an epic article...tell me again why we are approving random blogs that don't even bother trying to prove their point with more than a few sentences?
