just because the game is too hard for you. For everyone else, it's a good game.. though the learning curve is steep and there is not much guidance given (mostly from other players). It's kinda outdated by today's standards but it's still a good game.
As for a character for Dissidia, I'd probably have to say Tenzen would be WAY cooler than lame ass Shantotto. Hell, I'd settle for Volker or one of the Serpent Generals.

I think you're better off finding reviewers with similar tastes to your own and letting them guide you. Wide-sweeping score boards like Metacritic are often misleading. I look for indicators like "I really love stealth-action games so..." or "I never really liked RPGs in the past but..." and I decide from there on. Just avoid Gamespot and The Escapist... =P

Oh god, that pisses me off. I'm playing a game.. I need someone on my team to do something useful.. I say it over the headset and get silence in return. I'm hoping the new Bluetooth will fix that because it's really frustrating. USB headsets go for about 10 bucks if you get you cheap one (still works fine). Seriously, 400-600 bucks for the console and you skimp on buying a headset? c'mon.

It's not like Sony is moving their resources from some killer app to LwP. It's just a little perk.. and I say never too much. What did this cost me? Nothing. What did it get me? A cool little app that does some good and is entertaining and relaxing.
Because this dilutes Folding@Home enough for people to try reviewing it without sounding like they are opposing the research aspect of it. MGS4 might have ruined many, MANY games for me. I've never before played a game and thought "What will I play after this, that can even come close to this?". It's like the best game you've ever played, mixed with the best movie you've ever seen with story-telling that makes both other games and movies seem inferior. I've played games for 20 years, and I really don't know if anything will do what MGS4 did.
But yea, I think I actually lost the first time on that fight subconsciously. I KNEW it was the end and if I beat him, it would be all over.. I just couldn't give it my all.. I would certainly not be in line to get it. It would have to be the most stellar, and unequally advanced system for me to even begin thinking about it. They tend to handle their games like crap (Lookin' at you Orange Box and Mercenaries 2), so why would I expect anything better from an entire platform? If not Sony, then I'd probably go for a 360..
