Do you really think that when devs release demos they surgically cut out only the parts of the game you can play? There is probably a lot more on that demo than we can actually play. Almost 200 megs for a how many year old game? The whole game, or at least most of it is probably in the demo.

the demo was pretty bad. I turned on the 2nd controller, beat up on nobody for a minute or two, and turned it off. Maybe if a friend comes over or something, it could be cool, but otherwise, not much to do with it.

The fixes are needed, they're just not being provided. There are definitely bugs in my PS3 version. I think it's lame to not at least fix bugs and make minor updates. Yeah, people paid $60 and that certainly does not include DLC, but it should include a properly working game.
I definitely agree about MGS4. That was inexcusable to me. People would go back and play that game again for trophies, not to mention I'd be willing to bet people would pay good money for some DLC.

I agree with what you're saying in a general manner. I think devs should always support their games to the fullest reasonable extent. I just don't think it would really be worth it for AC. I seriously loved that game, and I wouldn't play it again for trophies. I'd rather they concentrate on the sequel, but I'm not disagreeing with you, I just think it's effort better spent elsewhere.
I've never had a problem with mine. I played lots of Shadow of the Colossus on it. Maybe yours was busted.
