Both those games for me.
I agree, and I'm a huge Zelda fan. It was boring. People rave about an empty world with a bunch of shrines. I mean sure, I like the direction but they basically gutted dungeons, unique bosses, an interesting story, and charming characters. It's a good step towards the future but they should've done better.
IDC.. I just want the ps5 already. It's time. Can't wait for the leap in physics, ai, and no load times. The rest is gravy.
I can't freaking wait... Every day I hope for just a trickle of info on PS5. Imagine when they start showing launch trailers..
Love that they kept the classic but updated box art!
IMO it was average at best. I had a lot of gripes with it. No dungeons, unoriginal bosses, the world while huge was bland. It was a new direction so I'm ok with it. Would've preferred a whole new Zelda than a BoTW sequel but it is what it is. Hopefully they make better decisions this time around. Didn't finish BotW.. and I always finish Zelda games.
After the disappointment that was BoTW, this should be a return to form.
stingy ass bastards.
You must be a pretty crappy artist to not be able to interpret client buzzwords.
Source: I'm an artist.
That game was so freaking awesome. Mechanically top notch.
Just show PS5 already!!
Get From Software! That's all that matters.
If only Fifa had the PES gameplay and PES had the Fifa pizazz then we'd have an amazing football game.
dayum.. only for PC.
@TK-66
Because the design looks like a clear Overwatch rip? I mean I get that it's "melee" but they could've tried something different than copy pasting the art style.
This is a joke right?
I feel like a big portion of the people who feel that way might be somewhat new to the series. Only then, I can see how it'd be so highly rated. Personally, the wonky weapon breakage didn't bug me much. The reasons I listed made this a forgettable game for me.
Hopefully these ideas are proper thematic dungeons, memorable bosses, a good soundtrack, key items, less empty world, and a decent story. I can't understand how people defend this game as the best Zelda ever. They tried something different and it was ok. I got to the 4th divine beasts and lost interest. Now's the time to really pack everything fans love about Zelda into the new formula.
The problem is that they wanted to ride the MCU wave which was a huge mistake. They can't use the likeness or voice of the actors so it all feels off brand and cheap. But it's still similar enough to where you can't not notice that they look off brand and cheap. If they used their own identity and based the avengers off the comics we wouldn't have this problem. Thor would be Thor, not blocky weird haired Thor wannabe.
I got it release and remember the controls being super clunky. Like Geralt would walk a full circle to do a 180. It turned me off from getting far even though I liked the general story and cool world. I heard later they patched the controls but by then I moved on. Might give it another go on my pro.
