I literally had no expectations. Didn't even know there was a SoP until I clicked on the link.
I've seen enough of those games to feel like I've played them over twice. Still very much in the not sold camp.

I've seen some comments on how good it looks but did you see those facial animations? The faces and animations were really off putting.
This looks good... and rough. I know FS have never been too impressive graphically but Bluepoint really spoiled me with DS (probably for the worst). This feels very ps4. Also aesthetically very dark souls-ish. Was hoping it would have a different tone.

If you read the article, the CEO seems to blame marketing and COVID more than all the reasons this game sucked. I think they need new management for sure.
It really is this easy. A good game will have good results regardless of additional monetization methods. It's like they see dollar bills before conceptualizing anything.

It looks great, but the overall style / art direction looks generic to me. I feel like we've seen these same cyborg enemies and armor sets over the course of multiple gens. Looks great but something rings hollow and boring.
After the PS5 showcase, that headline seems a bit silly.
As a long time FF fan, this looked lame imo. Gave bro k pop vibes over the fantasy stuff. Didn't finish 15 and will be passing on this.
