It wasn't just gameplay that they took a beating for though. All those games they showed looked like current gen crap. Maybe with the exception of scorn but honestly they could've been on the base xbone and you wouldn't be able to tell a difference.

While I'm not a big fan of anime art, I'd be fine with it if at least they mixed up elements and atmosphere to give them some personality.

Agreed. It was lacking a lot but if it fixes what it lacked, dungeons, awesome "unique" bosses, different moods, then it could def. have potential.
