"As opposed to, you know, denying that there's a problem for weeks and then saying, 'SURPRISE! OUR NETWORK HAS BEEN HACKED AND YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO MIGHT HAVE BEEN STOLEN!'"
1) Sony never denied the attack
2) Sony did not wait a week (or in your ignorance 'weeks') to tell it's consumers.
Do yourself a favour and go read up in the PSN hack, enlighten yourself. Most of the articles claiming Sony kept the information fr...
As much as what he said was completely ignorant and I in no way support what he said. Your reply was equally as ignorant.
You both look as bad as each other...
Doesn't matter if the CC info was decrypted. The server or part of the server storing it wasn't actually accessed
Been meaning to get the warhawk dlc! ... now I dont have too :D
@HeavenlySnipes;
I don't think logical thinking works on these people :/
@jimmywolf;
They can't lie or cover up their tracks. The investigation was handled by an outside company, the information Sony gets is from this outside company.
There for, if they lied or covered anything up this outside company would have to come forward and say so.
Because Sony didn't know day one.
Unless you are insinuating that Sony are in fact clairvoyant.
@fishy fingers;
Except the title says "Sony unveils Starhawk"...
There's no mention of anything relating to starhawk or warhawk...
"Lol Scragg" I love that name!
So you mean Australian Government believes unconfirmed sources over confirmed sources?
Wow...
thats_just_prime; Really so now I'm a fan"girl" because I'm pointing out that this developer is overreacting to a situation that's been blown completely out of proportion by idiot journalists and their blogs?
Further more, they are more likely to go under by limiting their release platforms.
Sit back and watch as every other developer just carries on like normal and ends up completely fine, indie or big name.
Where's the vote option to tell the developers to grow up?
I admit. I giggled.
Really? no sources for the claims of fraudulent claim, further more the other articles on other sites don't even make a connection with the PSN outage.
70million+ users and so far I've only seen 2 cases reported. That's not enough to make a connection.
Gamestooge truly is a site that should be black listed then.
This site just wrote a prime example of how not to report on this situation.
Instead of spreading mis-information and bullshitting your way to the front page of N4G, why not actually tell the truth?
Sony can't of possibly known, day one, what actually happened, what it effected and why. Sony also can't lie themselves through this because this is not being handled by Sony.
Everyone should down vote this site as a source so that it get&...
Cloud saves aren't much of a problem though. Unless your PS3 chooses now to crap out :P
These people need to shut the fuck up; "we want reimbursement". For a free service? yeah okay, here's your reimbursement, fuck all!
Even PSN+ users don't really need it, it's not like they pay extra for access to extra multiplayer features or anything. All the stuff they get for PSN+ they can still play with whilst the PSN is down...
It'd be nice to have reimbursement but it's not needed.
The only people that messed with the gamers, were anonymous...
Funny that, because he doesn't mention any specific group of hackers.
Jumping the gun a bit aren't you? Did you think he was taking the piss out of your dearly beloved?
OH OH OH!
Return of the Mack!
Okay now I can leave this thread.
