Apologies, after a re-read this is correct. I was just thinking about the fact that there are going to be a LOT of great games released this year, some of which we know next to nothing about and there's always room for something truly surprising to come out (not that Nioh isn't a great surprise). I guess I'm just hopeful that the beginning of the year has been full of amazing games and I want this trend to keep up throughout the year.
Nioh is super good, but calling GOTY in February is a little ridiculous.

Because everything has to feel like it was made in 1996 for it to be good! Doom was the best game of last year hands down and you're saying it wasn't good until they slightly moved the position of the gun, get it together.
