You act like there's some sort of bias toward Rockstar rather than the fact that they put out the absolute best/high quality open world games on the market and have been doing so for the better part of 2 decades.

Gonna have to guess that Sony fans are mad that I made a point that it would be cool to get 2 really great games this year (one being multi-platform). Just because God of War is an exclusive and a great game doesn't mean it has to be the best game this year because you're the only people that can play it.
I think the original RDR is the best game of the entire last generation...so I'm already biased, but it would be great if it could compete, that just means we get 2 incredible games in one year.
I mean, I want to play the new Tomb Raider, I've definitely enjoyed the most recent games...that being said I'll be picking up Spider-Man as soon as it releases and I'll probably wait for Tomb Raider to go on sale because those games almost always get deep sales pretty quickly.

I couldn't imagine working for a company...that doesn't really do anything. Imagine working on something for years and years only to have your project scrapped over and over, like everything you do is for nothing.
I wouldn't say last year was an easy call at all, multiple people have very different GOTY last year (mine being Persona 5...or Nier Automata)
And during dialog with NPCs....which is a large part of the game, I'm willing to bet you see yourself quite a bit.
I want the game the way the developers intended for me to play it, backseat games developers have absolutely no idea what they're talking about. The only people that have even seen gameplay are actual journalists.
It was always my understanding that The Last of Us had pretty great multiplayer that was actually fairly popular.
This reads more like a wishlist than an actual document. That being said I think Platinum would actually be a great fit for a F Zero game.
Resistance 3 is like a spiritual successor to Half Life 2 and is a legitimately great game.

I mean, of course they are going to milk the online aspect of the game. Do you know how much they have made from GTA V Online? Literally billions on top of the $60 billion they made just selling the game to people. From a business perspective it would be utterly stupid to just leave all that money on the table.
