This is the beginning of a complete disaster.
"Speaking from purely personal experience, from the reaction of friends both within the industry and without, there's real anger surrounding the decision to launch more powerful consoles so quickly. This, they say, is not what we signed up for at all: we want reliability and convenience and everything else the console ecosystem has previously horse traded for a less impressive bottom line on performance. I've seen people suggesting that this was a vast collusion, a ploy which Mic...
"Ong said there was a lot about Marvel Games' plans for consoles that he couldn't talk about. There are existing partnerships with Telltale Games, Sony Interactive Entertainment and Warner Bros.' TT Games to make titles based on Marvel's properties, but he indicated there's a lot more in the works, some of which we'll hear more about later this year."
Sounds like they might have more games in line with Sony.
Beta tested in the future.

That's pretty lame.
"Oh boy... Was considering getting the Xbox S but I better start saving up for Scorpio. Playing games like Forza Motorsport 6 or Doom 4 in VR will be amazing."
See, people are already feeling like they're getting left behind.
"If xbox console fans want a higher end model which supports better resolutions, fps and VR then Scorpio is your best bet."
I agree. But it's completely contradictory to their messaging....
That's exactly why. Fallout 4 VR is the beginning of games the Xbox One won't get, but Project Scorpio will.
Read this part.
“We're following the reveal of the Xbox Project Scorpio very closely especially since the confirmation of VR support,” says Tammeka Games producer Sam Watts. “Considering we are already on Oculus Rift and HTC Vive on PC already and in the process of porting to PSVR for launch later this year, working with a Win10-based...
Like Fallout 4 VR alot of them are talking about making VR games already. Which would be exclusive to Scorpio. Pretty funny.
@alexious
Spiderman, God Of War and Detroit are farther in development than you think.
It was beautiful.

It will most likely have multiple costumes. I don't mind the one they showed.
They are transitioning people to the PC, that takes time. We have no clue want Project Scorpio will be branded.
Phil Spencer on Microsoft's PC plans: "I wouldn’t say our strategy is to unify"
http://www.pcgamer.com/phil...
Edit: You just removed the part you wrote about unification. Lol.
The conference was only OK, it was nothing spectacular.
What I have I said that you feel is downplaying the Xbox One?
"It’s a significant strategy that not only gives Xbox and Windows game consumers more options, but also leads Microsoft to be less reliant on a single dedicated game console, ever-so-slightly shifting its Xbox business away from a head-to-head console war with Sony’s PlayStation."
Exactly, anyone who can't see this is blind. The Microsoft Conference was great for PC gamers and only OK for Xbox owners, like every move made has been since they started talking ab...
It will have exclusives, VR exclusives at least.
@king nezz
That's not true. Xbox Scorpio supports VR, the Xbox One doesn't. That's getting left behind.
If you want it or not is not the issue. If you want Xbox VR capabilities you need Scorpio and that's, that. Saying no one left behind is simply not true.
I dont think you understand, a minimal amount of profit is brought from 1st party Studios. The platform owners are getting a percentage of all software sold on your platform. So, driving you away from their platform to sell you 1st party stuff only, is a strange business model for a company that produces consoles.
What?!?

Microsoft is the worst console revealer of all time.
Edit: I removed the first link.
