From the reviews I read 7-8 seems like the score one would give this game if they aren't a huge Spidey fan. So i'm not surprised big sites like IGN and Gamespot gave scores within that range.

PC gaming will never eclipse or over take console gaming because consoles are designed specifically for gaming. The ease of use for consoles pleases gamers and casuals. You buy a game, put it into your console and that's it. No need to worry about if your console meets the minimum requirements. No need to worry if your PC is up to date.

Well I was referring more to him judging the last of us as "leaving nothing to the imagination" with only 2 minutes of gameplay as proof of that. There is no way you can do that with a movie too. You can't come to the conclusion that a film is "leaving nothing to the imagination" based off a 2 minute trailer.

I see graphics as having to suite the game. If your game is based on realism then your game should have realistic graphics to match. Imagine if a Heavy Rain or Uncharted had shoddy graphics, it would definitely take a lot away from the experience. Whereas for a game like tetris, simplistic ...
