This is a sales article so I expressed my disappointment of the results.
I just feel that the time spent making FF13-2 and Lightning Returns could have been put into making FF15 come out a lot sooner is all.
lmao Last week you were so quick to scream DOA!
Now all of a sudden you're taking a more rational approach. I wonder why? lol
Not good. I really want SE to get the message. I hope it doesn't do too well in the West.
And thus why all of this is silly. You could go on and on about how platform x owns platform y, but when you can't play a great game that isn't available on the "better" platform, the question "which one is better?" becomes null and void and turns in to "which one has the games that you want?"
Spyro ain't gonna happen unfortunately. Skylanders is breeding Acitivision a ton of cash. Acitivision, the king of greed, ain't giving up the Spyro ip anytime soon.
***"Lol no people are subscribing because they have to for online mp"***
That is definitely true. Doesn't change the fact that it has great value though.
SOCOM: US Navy SEALs which came out in 2002 on the PS2 had voice recognition as well.
^^^
Either way the sign that Activision may no longer have Crash, is very good news in itself.
LMAO!!!
I feel sorry for Live fans. :(
You do realize that the PS3 is the only current-gen console with blu-ray and was one of the cheaper blu-ray players when it released, yet it still didn't see the same success as the PS2 right?
I'm not denying that they'll impact people's decisions. I'm just saying that the games will have a lot more impact than the features. Remember this gen Sony was marketing the PS3 as an "it only does everything device" now next gen they are marketing the PS4...
LOL didn't even notice that!
Haha, puts a WHOLE different perspective on this article now... I feel like an agenda is being pushed here...
***"but the platform's services and features are just as, if not more important than the games."***
Stop. Just stop it. Lol no man, which would sooner make you switch/choose one console over the other, apps or games? Nobody is buying a console to use apps/services that they can already use on their PC or smartphone. They're more like bonuses that can way in a decision/provide convenience.
I'm not saying that apps don't matter, but to...
Your right in that we shouldn't expect greatness from 2K for an NFL game right away given the fact that it's been nearly a decade since they made a football game.
But then again 2K's NFL games have been great from the day they started with their first NFL2K game they made back on the Dreamcast without any prior football games released.
lol
Seem like they mistook Kaep for a young Steve Young or something lol. The folks there at EA are extremely laughable considering I struggled to tell which was the PS4 and which was the PS3 lol. I really hope 2K can pick up the license, the competition is needed badly.
Does ND even what to do Crash though? I highly doubt that they want to, which is why I'm not too excited about Crash coming back. Because if it does, what's the guarantee that it will be good? It could end up being better than Acti's attempts whomever does end up actually making the game, but that would be saying much though.
Funny thing is back when the PS4 and XB1 was initially revealed you laughed at how the praise/criticism for both consoles were akin to that of the Vita and 3DS and said come fall is when the majority speaks (basically a stealthy/clever way of saying that PS4 sales would be similar to that of the Vita despite the praise while XB1 sales would be similar to 3DS despite the internet criticism). Now that it looks like that won't happen you are now praying and hoping things flip around in the n...

***"It is pointless to discuss this, as if there are plenty of exclusives and none I want to play it wouldn't matter.
Point being, I don't care if they are exclusives or not. I only care if I have games I'm want to play and willing to buy."***
Ok then. Why not just say that then. Why try to act and pretend as if having more games in the beginning as opposed to the middle or end of the life cycle is any better ...
Free is free at the end of the day.
Edit @ below
Oh boy not this again. I'm not going to argue about the technicality of the term.
lol
Qwark you are speaking to deaf ears.
He just wants to justify why exclusives only matter in the beginning and why we don't need them at the end.
He claims it's because 3 party games are plenty at the end of the life cycle, but the funny thing is there are plenty of 3 party titles coming to the XB1/PS4 within the first year alone too, BUT that STILL won't make him admit that there should be a steady stream exclusive games for a...
