***"hmmm... fanboy calling a fanboy calling a fanboy! :D
Yes, that first reference is to me"***
Finally admitting it huh?
Did you read the article? NOPE!
He didn't mean Sci-Fi literally. He used sci-fi in a hyperbole sense.
All he's saying is that the architecture simplifies development which allows for techniques that weren't possible or seemed impossible(this is where the sci-fi hyperbole comes in) last gen, are now possible this gen. Fangirls these days...
I think Sony should have bundled("forced") it in.
The PS4 might not get things that aren't gimmicks, but are actually welcomed additions like head tracking now because it's not bundled in. Head tracking is something that would give players an advantage over those that don't have a camera. Devs aren't going to want to risk imbalance in their games by having something like head tracking in it when they know not everyone is going to have a camera.
Wow, most people only see one side. I'm glad you're able to see both sides of the coin. I totally agree with everything you said.
Yeah I know Sony said that, but most people aren't going to look at it like that.
If you already have a Vita you'll more likely view it as paying a $100 to have a second PS4 in the home that also happens to allow you to play your Vita games on the TV as well as the video streaming apps.
So even though you might feel that the Vita should have had TV functionality in it, it doesn't change the fact that the Vita TV is giving you a lot of value for yo...
***"When you play the game, it doesn't matter which version looks better zoomed in 200%."***
lol exactly.
Driving in GTA4 was much more realistic than it is in GTA5. People were just upset that you couldn't turn corners on dime while going 100 miles per hour in GTA4. Only issues I had with Gta4's driving was with bikes.
Driving in GT5 feels super duper arcadey. The cars feel like they don't have the weight on them that they should have and the roads feel slippery smooth.
Only when driving with trucks, bicycles, motorcycles, and damaged cars do I feel ...
300 times!? I can't wrap my head around that scale.
***"driving a character’s personal vehicle while controlling one of the game’s other two protagonists."***
This is definitely one of the triggers, although I didn't realize it at the time until now. Franklin is the only one so far where I lost a vehicle (car & bicycle) that I stored in the garage outside his home. I drove Micheal's vehicle while playing as him.
Exactly, 32 players surprised me when I heard it. 16 players is still good. I think GTAIV had that many as well and I still found it fun.
***"Anyhow, why am I bothering responding to a troll."***
Ironic coming from someone who is known to be doing a bit trolling themselves.
Name an open world game with three player-controlled protagonists.
I have no idea what people are complaining about. It looks amazing to me.
Even if you are into rap/hip-hop the radio stations are still pretty awful.
@viveks86
I'm not saying that people shouldn't be allowed to choose based on all the facts. I'm just saying that games are the most important factor especially when the difference in power isn't huge and that power is way less important when difference is small. Sure, power becomes more important when all things are equal, but that goes without saying. And things aren't equal as far as software is concerned. Sony's lineup and the potential their futur...
***"Shouldn't it be about games, not power?"***
Egg-zacklee!
@viveks86
Apples to oranges comparison. TVs =/= Gaming consoles.
What will ultimately make people decide on which console to get is the games given that difference in power isn't that huge. If it were as huge as the Wii compared to HD consoles this gen then the power debate would be worthy of the attention it's getting now.
I bet that most people planning on getting the PS4 wouldn't start canceling their preorders if we were to fi...
Yeah, it's not like difference is equivalent to a Wii-PS360 like gap. Pointless argument since the difference is minimal.
Don't worry about the disagree(s). People will disagree with anything.
I thought the same thing you did when I read the title which was "again!?"
As as long as the power gap isn't the equivalent of the Wii to PS360 gap then the question of which one is more powerful means jack squat.
Haha, this article is BS. Every article I've seen from that website seems to be poor now that I think about.
He's basically saying that everyone who bought GTA V tried to log into GTA online yesterday... well that's BS. A lot people on my college campus are having trouble connecting their systems to the internet so we couldn't play GTA Online even if we wanted to.
No way 15 million people tried to play GTA Online yesterday.
