Not surprised at all by this score in the least. This is what happens when shove something that people DON'T want down people's throats. I'm so glad this game is doing very poor sales-wise and score-wise.
Square Enix give us what WE want; FFXV(Been asking for this since FF13 dropped), Kingdom Hearts 3 (been asking for this since the PS3 dropped), FF7 remake(been asking for this since that tech demo dropped), FF Type-0, etc. Not that hard, seriously.
Wow, admiralvic saved me a ton of typing lol.
I can't believe you brought up that notion, Death. If it were that simple why not just buy the chip and put in a PC? Would save PC gamers a ton of money instead of having to buy a console just to play it's exclusives lol.
Also how is PS Now an attempt to sell more TVs, tablets, phones, and PCs? Focus should be on selling PS Now as a valuable and desirable product itself first, before you can even think abo...
***"Why not just keep the older console, and buy the games used or whatever."***
I agree with everything you said besides that. I don't see how Playstation Now prevents anyone from doing that to begin with?
It's not like the PS4 is going away anytime soon and we all knew this was coming when Sony first announced the PS4 back in Feb...
Good to see that the initial feedback is positive though.
*Sigh*
I don't support obvious flamebait articles for obvious reasons. I absolutely agree with you...
But come on. What happened to "because N4G supports flamebait articles it's ok to post them"?

***"So they have AI in the game to complete tasks that human players wouldn't do. I'd rather be killed by AI than a human player who camps out in a spot and cheeses the map and tries to exploit rather than be genuiley good at the game."***
Both are equally bad in my opinion. Of course you don't want to be killed by a lousy camper, but being killed by A.I is just as worse. Both scenarios are unnecessary deaths that shouldn't have occurred.

We are beating a dead horse at this point. It's clear that a good portion of people would at least like an option to increase the player count, but it is also clear that Respawn is sticking to their 6v6 limit which they felt makes the game most fun.
Only thing to do now is to wait until the game is out and see for ourselves.
Hence the keywords "could be" and "future", albeit it is called PlayStation *Now*, so I understand where you were mislead.

Do you even read what you link?
LOL johndoe11211, this is N4G. You aren't allowed to make sense here.
Everything you said is a valid and legitimate point and you will see no one trying to refute it because they can't. At best you'll get "the holidays is what's driving the sales" if you'll even see a reply.
Also, know who you are arguing against. Nukeitall has been on the record saying "supply is constrained for BOTH companies", but then comes here and...
***"This game is Cod, with free running, wall jumping, jet packs, a quicker pace -> And then mechs."***
What you just described isn't CoD. Mechs alone make it different. Add on the other things you mention such as jet pack backs and the ability to run on walls, jump from building to building, etc. you have an entirely different beast. You can't even quick or no scope in this game. It isn't CoD and people need stop saying that it is.

Yeah, I don't understand why devs are so hesitant to give players choices.
***"It is what we find most fun. There are other games with higher player counts if that’s your metric"***
Wow, can't believe a developer would say this, but I can't say I disagree. This also shows that he truly feels that 6v6 is best for the game.
I agree that low player count makes a game more competitive. KZ2 for example was 16v16 max, but most clan matches were 3v3 or 4v4 in order to minimize lucky kills and people sitting at a distance (camping) picking people off, which often happens in games with a high player count.
But do realize that Titanfall's 6v6 isn't just players only. A.I. bots are on the field as well, if it truly is about competitiveness you wouldn't want to have bots of all things killing ...
@Concertonie
Normally you would be correct. If the game is designed around 6v6 then let it be. No point in cramming more players in just for the sake of it.
But here's the thing, the game has A.I. meaning it's more than just 12 players roaming about. Respawn could just lower the A.I. count and replace them real players. Maybe the A.I. have an important role that just can't be left up to the players? Only explanation I think of.
First disappointing news about Titianfall. I was expecting 12 vs 12 at least. Respawn chose to make it 6 vs 6 for a reason. Only way to find out why is to play and see if the map size and the game's fast pace is what dictated the max player count. 6 vs 6 is small especially for a next gen game.
Edit: Oh, so there's A.I. Now I'm a bit confused. Why not just replace the A.I. with real players?
I agree with you on not counting the Wii U out just yet as they still have potential system sellers left in the bag (Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart, Monolith Soft's next Xneo game, next gen Zelda, etc.), but do remember that the 3DS got a huge price cut early on. People easily forget that. The 3DS is not necessarily representative of can happen with the Wii U.
@ThePope
***"Sony IMO has done a very good job of convincing people that they can't find one (if that’s indeed true) because they sell out so fast. Have you considered that they either A. Make them too slow, or B. They are artificially keeping stocks low to drive artificial demand?"***
That is just not a realistic assumption to make and just doesn't make any sense too boot. How the hell does scarcity make a product more appealing? I just don...
Interesting.
Higher than I expected and higher than what some others expected as well I bet.
Considering some were saying that Sony was "struggling/doing a poor job of producing PS4's at an efficient rate" and that they "sacrificed the remaining weeks after launch to break launch records" while Micorsoft on the other hand is "producing consoles at a very efficient rate" you'd think that gap would be a lot closer.

I would LOVE a Final Fantasy XII HD remaster too. Wish they would have scrapped X-2 and put XII instead. I also agree with everything said regarding the FF XIII fiasco as well.
I don't know about you, but FFXV gives me that FF7 vibe.
Is the battle system turn based? No, and I welcome that.
The battle system FFXV is incorporating is the direction Final Fantasy needed to go. FFXII headed in the right direction with it's battle system, but had faults like being able to auto battle and characters could use weapons that weren't theirs thanks to the "brilliant" weapon board, etc. but overall it was step in the right direction...
