Unlike the competition Kinect isn't trying to be hardcore YET...but it's mission in life at this point is to bring the casual gamers that have made the Nintendo Wii the top system this gen with 71+ million sold over to the Xbox 360 system. M$ knows who the demographic is for Kinect and they have put together the ultimate line up for them...lets take a look...

I love how brand X kids claim the pictures are not real because they look too good. It's a little late for that, the game was shown at E3 and graphics are in a league all there own with a whole year still to go before it releases in April 2011. I remember the PS3 guys claiming it was the next big thing on PS3 as well because it was exclusive and uses the power of the PS3. Of course not much was known about it at that time. @logjam...Sony's exclusives are not even the top sellers on there own system. The 360 developed multi-plats are the highest selling games on PS3.
How Kinect performs this holiday will determine how this generation of gaming goes. M$ has put forth a great Wii inspired line up to bring some of those gamers/casuals over to M$. As for the hard core, they have been well fed this year with the best line up of hard core games.

Agree withjob...If your gonna mention technical terms don't forget the 10-15 fps part...lol. While the game is in development, there sure was alot of technical issues with this trailer. Relying on the GPU for basic game play will cause all the choppy slowdown you see in this vid especially the transitions from live to canned scenes. I doubt the final code will be much different. At least they are trying. Good thing ND is showing them how to make Infamous look just like UC 2 graphics wise....
I think few people embrace change and that would apply to people who have become fat and lazy and don't want to bother with anything new.
A good developer will always see the glass half full and should look at the potential that a device may offer. Lionhead and Peter Molyneux are such a developer.
