I didn't know this was some sort of issue. They said Kinect could scan real world items a long time ago. Anyways, making that into some sort of gameplay will be the problem.

I think having a golf club, Fishing rod, skateboard, magic wand...etc will be part of the experience at some point assuming M$ doesn't have to pay any royalties to anyone. I hate articles like this that try to rewrite history on their one sided opinions. The ONLY complaints I ever heard about Halo 2 was the campaign was short for some and the ending left them wanting MORE...Halo 2 game launch was something I never seen before. It was like the biggest thing ever and no Halo Fan was disappointed.
Star Wars: Forced Unleashed looks amazing. Hopefully, they haven't had to dumb it down to work on the problematic PS3 like other devs.. Take a look at this clip...Star Wars is ORIGINAL and doesn't have to rip it's ideas off other games like Sony...Unleashed 2 OWNS Sony's Jedi rip off Infamous 2...

The title of the piece is misleading as many of those games are multi-platform titles and didn't have anything to do with M$ canceling them...of course M$ could of offered to have the games created for the Xbox exclusively but that's another story. The cancel games in M$'s vault is alot more than 15...are you kidding.
I liked alot of those concepts unfortunately the cost of making a game these days has risen and many publishers are just not interested.

I didn't want it to end. The way they are tying the story to the game play is just genius. The opening sequence with the massive air ship and all the platforming tied to it must of been very labor intensive to tie that all together.
They said that the level of detail in the game would make Epic and Gears Of war proud...I believe it. The levels shown so far are huge, detail rich environments. I never really gave Heavenly Sword a go...I think I might now...WoW. They obviously...
Great looking game with incredibly fluid gameplay and massive environments. The platforming looks incredible and Ninja Theory really are a talented bunch. To bad they didn't add a Co-op campaign element or even some multi-player to add some replay value to the game. Ignoring the on line community is not a good idea in this day and age and extremely limits your audience. Vanquish will have the same problem.

On Topic...Kinect is the most advanced add on ever made and not only is it a step in the RIGHT direction, but it will over shoot the competition by years. M$ is banking on Kinect for the future.

I don't like the idea in general BUT if a developer wants to stir some interest in there game that may not of sold as expected then maybe offering a $5 taste of the game might not be a bad idea, assuming there is at least 1.5 hours of gameplay.
Alan Wake sold around 700,000 copies and was buried by misinformation and the release of RDR...why not offer the first DLC package the signal at $4.99 ( regular $6.99 or free to 1st time buyers ) on XBL to all and see what happen...
I'm not sure where the Infamous comparison came from...doesn't matter. Enslaved platforming is beyond anything I've seen from Infamous. Infamous is an ok game but I find it steals ALL it's gameplay from other games...specifically in this case Star Wars: Force unleashed which looks and plays far better than Infamous and judging by the sales of unleashed 1 ( 5 mill ) and Infamous 1 ( 1 mill ) will far outsell it too. Take at look at this game play and especially the graphics...U...
We will have to wait for a demo or the actual release of the game to make a real comparison. You would think that with their experience with the PS3 that the 2 games would be equal at the least...UNLESS they are upset about not making Heavenly sword 2...lol.

This has nothing to do with free downloads and Valve knows it. Valve want to run there Steam operations through XBL for next to free...not gonna happen. Add to that the fact that M$ is a direct competitor now as they are going head first back into PC gaming and will be a direct competitor for Steam. That's why he's sucking up to PS3 community right now like they are a ham sandwich...lol.
