Never played the original. I have it on the vita so yes it's a shame lol
Smt 4 had great character development and voice acting. The scenes weren't animated so im assuming that gave more resources with everything else.
Smt 5 is great so far for me but I agree it would be phenomenal with smt 4 story depth. The ambience and open world were in focus this time around.
Maybe they can make an updated or new branching story like smt 4 apocalypse.
No Pokémon needs to go fully open world with an experienced dev. Not gamefreak
Had to pick this up on sale. I've heard nothing but good things so I hope it's a sequel. Doesn't seem like it sold too well.

Their working on bayo 3 for next year and had Astral chain which had some great action in it. Maybe they haven't released anything your interested in
Astral chain was great imo. Really enjoyed it and I'm not much of an action game fan.
Their different artsyles. Oranges to apples. Video seems to have been slowed down, but it may very well be 30fps
I didn't finish 3, got about half way but so far I'm liking 5 better. It feels like 3 but with upgraded presentation so that's definitely a good thing.
That's not too bad of a comparison actually lol yes persona is much easier to follow. The smt games excel at creating the feeling of dread and are overall more difficult.
Clearly you haven't played much of the games. Persona is a bit easier to grasp with its dating/life simulation and much lower entry level so your ignorance is understandable.
Their both different games but smt is much harder to get into. The ambience and tone are much more serious. Persona is more lighthearted and relatable.

I second this. I'm waiting for the new psvr so I can play it with some increased fidelity. I play it on a base ps4 and it's still great tbh
When the switch stops selling then they'll have a problem.
I wish they would provide stronger hardware but I'm happy with the amount of fun I've had on my switch and their still releasing quality first party for me. Don't care much about 3rd party on it.

the wii u was just a train wreck all around from games, usability, marketing, etc. and was more of a beta test for the switch, no other way to look at it from an objective standpoint.
Mine said "q1 2022" and now it's "after q2 2022" meaning halfway into the year at q3. This sucks, I was holding off all my new purchases for steamdeck but I guess I'll carry on like normal now .
Some ppl don't want to be tethered to a TV, it's pretty obvious.
