I hope it's true. Ps4 level is great for handheld. We have it with the steam deck already but they dont have those sweet nintendo ip's. ps4 level Mario, pokemon, zelda, metroid,etc ? Count me in.
I know ppl are salty because nintendo gravitates toward handheld more now but it's worked out great for them. Ps5, xbox, and PC are around for everything else.

I'm having fun with arceus and definitely will purchase scarlet and violet. So I don't think it needs a break at all, just reworking of the formula which they are doing. I had previously given up on pokemon thinking It would never make progress. I received arceus as a gift and gave it a shot and now I'm back lol

This was cool. I was bored with the app announcements but that arceus dlc and last reveal were epic.
I really hope they keep the outdoor elements with the new game and the free flowing battles, I really like that it all takes place without moving to a diff screen in arceus. I hope they lean more towards arceus exploration than sword and shield exploration.
As it stands even if they don't, at least I'm happy their adding updates to arceus and as ...

Ps vita was hands down the best handheld for the time. It's a shame Sony never really backed it.
Till this day the interface is much better than anything Nintendo has. Sony just called it quits without ever fully exploring possibilities.
It was always going to be an uphill battle, their fanbase and games were targeting an older crowd as opposed to the wide base that Nintendo carried. They should have done more to convince people.

I bought it on sale for black Friday and I've got to say it was definitely full price quality.
