I don't think it ruined the single player game for me, but I had no desire to play multiplayer, because of the controls.
Its a problem because the developers tell us it is.
The only thing got me was the lack of maps in the beginning. Once I reached the highest levels and there were no new maps, the game got old really quickly. I can't speak for anything after a certain date because my friends and I both sold it back to gamestop.

That's where I think you are wrong, respectfully. It's not like MW2, which throws a bunch of of stimulation at you constantly. You can't run (at least in past Halos :) ) and you can't level up you weapons, and you don't have a point system that shows up in the middle of the screen every time you kill someone (along with all the other visual and audio stimulation). You may like that more, but Halo 3 isn't that way, and in my opinion its for the better.
Its a great shooter, but for the console, Halo is King. For PC you may be right.
For example,just because a game like TF2 was amazing on the PC, doesn't mean that when the Orange Box was released on console, it was all of a sudden one of the best console games. Some games just don't fit as well.

I actually used to play the original UT on the PC, and definitely had a blast with it.

You must not like GOW3 then? What part of GOW3's gameplay was new and innovative? I absolutely LOVED GOW3, but no part of its game-play was anything we have not seen.
I just don't see people paying $120 a year for Hulu+ on top of the $50 a year for PS+.

i play video games a lot (too much), and I can honestly say I have never had my eye strain as much as as they did after 15 minutes of watching 3D.
Go to Best Buy and try the 3D TV and glasses they have set up there. After 15 minutes come back and tell me if your head and eyes don't feel strained, if you say they don't then you are a liar.
A week ago I tried it and within 15 minutes my head and eyes hurt.
Stop blowing off articles like this because 3D is for the beloved PS3. I would love to use 3D on my PS3, but if that's how I feel after using it, then you can forget it.
Because its happening on the 360.... lets be honest. MS can't do anything without getting criticized.
