To be fair to Square, the demo is very reserved. Once you play the full version you'll get hooked to collecting powerups. Especially Summons. As well as the story and running into new enemies and challenges.
I kind of agree but while N64 might have come in second place to the PSone profit wise. N64 just needed two groundbreaking games, Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time to forever change the landscape of gaming and leave an indelible mark on the mind of gamers that still resonates to this day. Remember, profit is not the only form of success. Relevance can also be a form of success. So excuse me if I don't see the N64 as a Fail.

VR could exist along side the current way we play games but it could also be an eventual threat to the current way of gaming. We could reach a point where they abandon our form of gaming and everything goes VR. Some of us don't want that to happen. We have no interest in VR. There could come a time where my favorite franchise only comes out VR. No one sees this as a possibility in the future?

I'm confused. What is she arguing? I've seen those argue that child porn should have different levels of punishment. Like having sex with a 17 year old vs having sex with a 5 year old should have some level of difference in the eyes of the law, but both are still bad, but one be worse than the other. You make a good point.
Why are big developers avoiding the idea of making new games that are good. All while forcing new expensive gimmicky technology on us to make the same old games look new again? I just want a lot of good games for my console and not a new way to play games. Is that a lot to ask for? Have developers run out of ideas that they have to distract us with new technology?
Let's be honest. While there are good indie games. A vast majority of them suck. That's what we get on Plus. Mostly bad indie games. While MS is giving triple A titles to keep free forever.
