This would make sense for two reasons. MS has to go big in June with Gold for E3. The other reason would be giving RDR free to gold members to tie in with Rockstar announcing RDR 2 at E3.

That's where you're wrong. It's not that simple. Sony's focus will ship more to the Neo. All the perks will go to the Neo. They wanna slowly abandon the current PS4 and make the Neo the main PS4 system. Basically they realized they messed up and should have released the Neo in the first place.
