The light is distracting me while I play a game. Especially in the dark. Great job Sony.
$249 or $199 should be the price for the core system pack. If not what's the point of the PS4 Slim if you can buy a regular PS4 for the same price?
No room. Few HDMI ports. I can only put so many input switch boxes. No built in streaming either. 720p looks bad these days. Playstation Now should be included with your PS Plus subscription and you should be able to play the games you own on PS3.

What would be awesome is if PlayStation Now was free unless you wanna purchase a new game. While existing PSN members can play all the PS3, PS2 and PS1 games they already paid for and own on Playstation Now. It could be the PS3 without having to actually own a PS3 and since PS3 is on it's last legs. Why not let PSN members play the games they already own?
GTAV should be $19.99 by now.
I'll still buy it on ebay for 39.99. There's always a seller who has it for that price. So I could careless.
They can't even justify this price hike. PS Plus has been crap for a while.
It finally has a real power button and not that confusing line in the middle they call a button. It's strange though how they chose to put the buttons and usb inside a trench. If you have fat fingers that's gonna be a problem.
Again, those developers held back.
It may not exist in the physical sense but if it did I feel it would be superior. Developers these days seem to limit their imaginations. I say go for it all the way and don't hold back if you're gonna make a game.
They could have taken what Journey started and evolved it. Imagine meeting another player a year from now in the game. Developing a friendship with this person. Sharing resources. Building a shelter together. Maybe you team up on missions and give your team a name. But maybe one day that person leaves and you can no longer find them, but you have all those memories. Yeah, you can't do most of this in, No Man's Sky. That's why the game in my head is superior.
I can't recommend this game enough. If you loved Shadow Complex You'll like this game, but keep in mind it has a twist. You can swap heads with any character you see in the game. That includes humanoid robots, robotic dogs, mobile computers. Controlling a head with Rocket Thrusters is surprisingly a lot of fun.
I only buy digital games. I haven't bought a physical copy of a game since 2013. I have no room for a physical game collection anyway. The only downside is that it takes longer for digital games to go down in price than physical games. For example you can get Uncharted 4 for 27 bucks used on Ebay. For me it's still 59.99 digitally. I'm a budget gamer so It's gonna be a long wait for me to play UC4. I'll give you an example. I just recently bought Bloodborne and Until Dawn ...
When your knowledge of modern video games is so limited. You really shouldn't give an opinion on them. Most nongamers over 50 still think Video Games are the equivalent of Space Invaders and Pac Man. That they have no substance and we just play them to get a high score. As if Video Games haven't evolved.
Today most Video Games are no different than reading book, watching a movie or viewing a beautiful work of art. They can take you on a journey, inspire you, uplift...
Someone messed with the contrast on the Xbox One version. Let me fix that,

Oops, now I lightened up the contrast of the PS4 version.
This was the first time they remade an older game with modern updated graphics. Now it's a common thing.
Can you build settlements in this game? Does the game evolve over time based on your actions? I mean I understand everything you can do in the game. See this planet, earn this, craft this, meet this alien. Rinse and repeat. I'm sure it'll be fun and interesting at first, but what exactly is the end goal? What's the purpose of doing anything in the game if you don't have an ultimate agenda?
I would say for the most part it's true for Western Games, but I don't think it's true for most Japanese Games. While many now have evolved with the times. There's also a lot of Japanese Games that seem stuck in the past that are still schilling the same sexualized style games since the 90's.
I've never played Earthlock: Festival of Magic, Forza Horizon or AC Chronicles and I no longer have Mirror's Edge. I sold it years ago, but I have all the Mirror's Edge DLC. So this is a sweet deal! As an owner of both Xbox One and PS4. Your move Sony!
