"So it’s no surprise to see consumers swinging more towards the way of digital downloads and online purchasing. After all, the prices are cheaper and it’s practically more convenient for people to buy online and have either instant gratification by downloading or immediate door-to-door delivery."

The prices are not cheaper. Digital games are always more expensive than physical copies. They also take longer to go on sale. For example a physical copy of Uncharted 4 ...

Oh great. Big sales numbers. That's wonderful for Nintendo. Unfortunately for the consumer sales don't equal quality or good games. In other words. You can sell a million turds. It's still a turd. No matter what, Reggie will say everything is going amazing for Nintendo. He has a PHD in marketing spin, lol.

Are you kidding? Streaming game services are far from perfected. You can still get lower resolution, frame drops and lagging. It just doesn't compare to actually running a game right there on your machine.

@Gemmol This happens every time with new Nintendo consoles. I say the system is gonna flop and loyal Nintendo fanboys attack me for it. Then the system bombs and I'm proven right. Don't you even realize Nintendo is repeating itself. It's basically walking down the same path as the Wii U. No matter how much Nintendo and their fans wanna spin it (It's a really a handheld, yadda yadda) Nintendo is once again setting itself up for failure. That doesn't mean the system won'...

I think Nintendo is selling us Wii U 2.0. It feels like they upgraded the Wii U and we're still on the same wave as Wii U. It's all smoke and mirrors. Since most the Switch games could have come out Wii U in the next 2 years if the Wii U had survived.

It should be like a USB connector. It only goes in one way. Why? So there's no confusion. This slider thing is poorly designed by Nintendo. We're talking about a system that put a stand on their Tablet and put the charger cable below the Tablet. I mean, you can't make this stuff up. lol! WTF was Nintendo thinking? The Switch feels like it was rushed to market and corners were cut to make it cheaper to produce. All you have to do is tear down the Switch and you'll see inside ho...

Human error, yes but at the same time poorly designed. It shouldn't be able to go in that way at all. One way entering is the only proper way to design it.

In terms of controls I would say, Horizon Zero Dawn. It's very fluent and tight. The graphics might get the win too because they're slightly more modern. In the areas that Witcher 3 tops HZD is in acting and story. It's superb and compelling to listen too. The other is the amount of things to see and do. Witcher 3 is 300+ You'll never get bored.

It makes sense. The only reason to get a Switch right now is for Zelda and who's willing to pay 300 to play the new Zelda game?

Between the simple build quality inside the Switch and the Joycons not syncing and now the dock scratching the screen. WTF Nintendo? I think It’s safe to say this is the cheapest flimsiest system that Nintendo has ever released. Did Nintendo even test the Switch before releasing it?

It feels like a repeat of the Wii U. We're gonna get those big Nintendo franchises once in a while but in between dry periods of nothing to play but mediocre third party games you can mostly play on Steam.

The presentation is eveything. The artwork and the size of the box help get your attention. Micro Boxes would have been less appealing.

No, why do you assume that? I especially don't trust what Nintendo tells us.

It's not about ignorance. It's about believing what you're told by Sony. I don't believe anything Sony and MS tell us. I believe if they really wanted to they could do it. Would it be really hard? Yes, but possible. There's always ways of tricking the system. It's not the first time Sony and MS have lied to us. Remember the Xbox One launch? The Xbox One would require a persistent internet connection. They said that would be impossible to change. It's part of the sy...

If that were true Sony wouldn't have responded in this manner,

"To be able to play PS3 games natively, Sony would have to create a PS3 emulator within the PS4's software, which is what Microsoft has done to solve the Xbox One's backward compatibility problem. Sony has said this isn't something it is considering at the moment, so PlayStation Now is your only solution for now."

Just because they stopped going down that path doesn&...

You're in the same boat. Because you can't prove it's making a big profit for Sony. So I don't really trust anything you say either. All I know is if it was real successful for Sony. All the media outlets would be talking about it. So most likely my opinion is right.
