Controllers are dead? Far from it! Wii sales are down. Kinect looks to flop and Move isn't exactly burning off the shelves. Although game sites like IGN would have you believe that everyone wants motion control. Because these big game sites are being pressured by the three big developers to promote motion control as a mainstream staple of gaming. I don't buy it and I don't own a Wii. I own a 360 & PS3 and don't plan on buying their motion control devices. I'm doing jus...
Achievements and Trophies killed Cheat codes. Since Achievements have become such integral part of gaming, cheating would make them pointless. So less developers add cheat codes to games these days. The ones that do, warn you that Achievements and Trophies will be turned off.
It looks like he has a ponytail in that pic.
The Wii has failed in creating an online community.
It was a gimmick and a good one. People were curious. Nintendo knows how to lure them in, a smart move on their part coming from prior gen which saw the Gamecube coming in last place. Nintendo knew they'd get the Zelda, Mario, Metroid fans for their next console, but it would be a repeat of the cube. How can we impress not just Nintendo fans, but the world. Motion control. It worked and made them millions. From a business stand point it's brilliant, from a modern gamers pov, who likes...
Ah finally. The gimmick is wearing off. The gimmick that fooled millions of people to get into gaming via a motion controller. They were never serious about gaming. It was a fad to them. They've moved on. The Wii's motion control will be looked back upon on one of those VH1 look back at the decades shows.
I gotta hand it to Nintendo though. Pairing up motion control with what was essentially a Gamecube disguised in a white case was brilliant. They made millions lurin...
The next Tony Hawk Ride. Unresponsive garbage! 3.0!
ACII was well made, but it's boring. It has too much traveling by foot and climbing and scenery that isn't fun to interact with
New Vegas is too much like FO3. Even the music is the same. It's too identical. I feel like I'm playing another FO3 expansion pack.
Sonic 4 is just boring. The levels are simple and the soundtrack doesn't even have changes in the music. It's all straight forward and they use horrible sounding instruments. Sonic Fan Remix gets it right!
No it doesn't. This game is teaming with color and life. Sonic 4 is too bland and straight forward.
Sonic 4 is nice looking, but it's too static and safe. The music is down right boring too. Sonic Fan Remix is alive with inspiration! It's not afraid to just kick your ass! While Sonic 4 plays it safe.
Miyamoto - I made a deal with the Devil.
GT5 delayed until March 2011.
Now that's a promotion I can get behind!
Having a system that doesn't support HD at this point is just ridiculous! Oh yeah the Wii, lol!
Yeah the Japanese version had an original score, but I believe GT4 brought part of original Japanese soundtrack, plus licensed music in the States.
Yeah every new game release seems average to critics these days. It's always around 7 to 8. There's no mind blowing games, getting 9.5 or 10s.
Is that licensed music I hear? Whatever happened to original game scores?, like Tokyo Highway Battle had! Maybe I'm old school, but music in video games used sound cooler, not even Sonic 4 has cool sounding music.
It's not about butthole pleasures.
