This next gen is going to be interesting. This current gen is the first where we've accumulated things, games we've bought, achievements/trophies, wallpapers,avatars. Will we get to keep all that? Will the next gen systems have a way to transfer all this to these new systems? or do we lose everything? No one is asking this except me.
It's easy for younger gamers 9 to 15 to say that the FPS isn't tired. For them it's new and exciting, but to a 39 year old like me. Who's been playing FPS games since Wolfenstein 3D and Doom. I've seen them all and hell yes the FPS genre is way tired and the market is over saturated. It doesn't help that there's basically zero innovation in FPS games. They just add new weapons, new perks. Rinse and repeat.

Well of course. Xbox Live has a larger online community of FPS players.
Wow get games for the same prices you can always get them, but just call it a SALE and that makes it cheaper. What a bargain!

@BattleAxe I agree most of the people that pirate games get them because they can or because they can't afford to buy the game, but if they couldn't get it for free. They wouldn't be able to buy it anyway. They'd wait for it to go cheap. So I think they'd still have a sales lose of around 2 million.

When do we get this Demo?
I'm really sick and tired of the - this is just a beta or this is just a demo. What do you expect? - excuse. I've been gaming a really long time now and I've played my fair share of betas and demos and 9 out of 10 times. The final product isn't much different from the beta or demo version.

One is a generic shooter and the other is trying to innovate multiplayer shooters with beast mode, arcade and horde 2.0.
Yeah every game has beast mode. Gears2 invented Horde mode. Sorry they didn't only have Deathmatch and Capture the flag *cough* Halo, COD for the one millionth time!
Resistance 3 is a bomb. poor sales. I knew it. That series has always been mediocre. It gets lost within all the dozens of fps games.
