I think BF3 could have easily been multiplayer only. While I enjoyed certain bits of the campaign, none were mind blowingly amazing. It was just pretty lol Multiplayer on the other hand...best FPS multiplayer on consoles in my opinion.
People have been saying the PS3 has been outselling the 360 globally in the same time frame for years. Well I think thats good in as much as all 3 versions look amazing in relation to their respective system. For all that's going on in Battlefield 3's multiplayer it looks amazing on consoles. And yes the campaign is linear, but again, looks amazing in my opinion. Especially Going Hunting and Operation Swordbreaker.
End of the day, I'm extremely impressed with how this game looks on my PS3
This may be in the same vein as The Elder Scrolls, but in my opinion this game looks better than Skyrim. Really can't wait to play it.

I personally think the Battlefield 3 console multiplayer is an easy 10/10. Never played anything like it, not even Battlefield Bad Company 2 was as intense. The sounds, the lighting, the map design are all top notch.
What other multiplayer do you know where you have to Base Jump off of a cliff and parachute down into an enemy base while under heavy artillery fire, or have to storm a rocky beach to reach objectives with your team mates, while under heavy fire from snipers etc....
So if Nintendo only want gamers, then what in gods name were the DS and Wii?

Sony hasn't done a significant firmware update that adds great robust features to the XMB in so long. It's actually starting to really annoy me seeing as its my main console of choice.
Well I've personally already clocked 20 hours of Online play since I got it last thursday (PS3 version). Games stupidly addictive and the most fun I've ever had with an FPS. Only other FPS I've liked it Killzone 2-3 so that says a lot really lol
