I think what killed WKC is the online. As innovative as it is, and as much as I've enjoyed it over the past year....I just can't help but think how much better if the game was just single player. And I hate how the graphics (Im not a graphics whore) took a serious hit from the TGS06 build...arghh can't wait for WKC2 ..I hope it's great. It looks amazing

WKC is hardly a flop. Just an RPG that was hyped way too much and is amazing for what it does. Heck it does a lot more than most JRPG's have this gen. And that's having a stable online system. Imo, WKC is merely the foundations for what is to come. You can even tell that in the games story.

Well FFXI was on 360 so why not? Also notice what Jack Tretton said when it was announced. He did not call it exclusive. He said that "PS3 will be the only CONSOLE you'll be able to play FFXIV on when it launches in 2010". That's what he said word for word. Meaning that this game will not be out for 360 at launch. But is more than likely to appear later on at some point, probably in 2011 when Versus XIII hits.

That's not the point being made. The point is that Sony year on year is setting the graphical benchmarks for console games. And funnily enough the competition still hasn't caught up to the benchmark they set way back in 2007 with Uncharted 1. That's the point being made here. No one says graphics are everything. If that was the case I wouldn't be loving Agarest: Generations of War as much as I am at the moment.
To me it sounds like regular PR crap. I've met Leo on several ocassion's (even celebrated his birthday with him and loads of others last summer) and he's the complete opposite of conceited. I would say he's merely just doing his job. And in some respects I can agree with what he is saying....The PSP's success...at least in Japan, is on the whole due to Monster Hunter...or at least its resurgence. And Monster Hunter is perhaps the most popular PSP game in the UK...make of that what you will.

That is a f*ck TONNE of compression O.o wow. If the game is roughly 38 GB in size....and DVD9 supports 8GB of data....6-7 being available for game space...wtf....that's easily over 5 GB cut/compressed.
Anyone who's trying to argue that Blu-Ray isn't needed anymore can just suck out. Yeah, you can say you can hardly see compression or notice it....but when the industry is trying to evolve, second best is not an option. Good lord.
Um, no Chrisulloa...no where on the box does it say Mass Effect 2 is games for windows. Meaning that Microsoft's OS is not NEEDED to play it and the amount of money they are likely to make off of the PC version is £0 if not minimal.
