I hope FF Versus XIII stays exclusive. Only because, I'd just love to see a Final Fantasy game that pushes the PS3 the same way Uncharted 2 did. The same way Killzone 2 did. The same way God of War III did. Square Enix have the talent, but Wada doesn't seem to want to pursue this. Being a huge FF fan, I'd just love to see an FF game that blows everyone away like the games mentioned above. Final Fantasy XIII is one of my favorite games this generation but I could only feel let down...
To be honest, as hyped as I am for Sony's offerings...Nintendo have got 3DS and Zelda in the pipeline. And possibilities of new Wii hardware? That is enough imo, for them to "steal the show". Zelda alone will be the most popular game there. Just watch.

Quality wise, sure they can. They just need to get their finger out of their arse and actually fund these games. Seriously if they put the time and effort in they could have amazing results. It's not a case of them not being able to. It's just a case of them being to lazy to put money where it should be going rather than timed exclusive CoD map packs and Guitar Hero DLC songs.
@Arid, yes it is pre-alpha still. They're even still using a lot of character models from the first game. As it stands the game has a long way to go but it already looks more colourful and the snow looks fantastic. Can't wait for this. Those jet pack animations although short, were slick. Hyped for the gameplay reveal next friday.
I think they do to an extent. Of course they want our money but they fund such risky projects and all to help innovate and give us, the people that are funding their business, unique experiences.
