Any body seen the Popo? Anybody seen the Popo let me know. Playing Reach is a no no. Can't mess with the Popo
Man they hardly seem to able to grasp core concepts of the RPG. How on earth do you think they're gonna be able to pull off a shooter?
YES! Killzone 2's soundtrack fantastic. Can't wait to see what Joris has in store for fans with Killzone 3.
I don't see the point. Its sold like 2/2.5 million in Japan already? Anyone in Japan who wanted it has already bought it AND, if they hadn't already, bought a PS3 to play it.
Getting ready for the launch of Move I think. Seriously I think Sony could one up MS if MS aren't careful. They can advertise Move, but then also advertise Eyepet which is controller less gaming. People see that £50 and think off best of both worlds. Then see Kinect for £130 and you're only getting controller less gaming. Advertising and entry price point is the key.
Now I admit, the unified nature of the social aspect of Live eclipses that of PSN. But in terms of features, it's a different story. You're paying for everything that is on PSN for free. Cross Game Chat and Party Chat do not justify £30 imo. It seems to me like it's a case of "because we're paying for it, it must be better".
Who's bashing XBL?. PSN has a boatload of features and beyond Cross Game Chat and Party Chat, XBL doesn't have THAT many features that cannot be used on PSN for free. The service is already see's a lot of income through advertising and seeing how deep MS pockets are, I can't see how they justify £40 a year for XBL. That's all I'm saying. I'm not saying the service is bad. It's a good service. I just think it needs to either be cheaper, or free.
Good. Let the masses cry. The need to get used to the a reality that isn't as selective as the reality put forward to us by the western media. This is cliche, but there is ALWAYS two sides to a story, and playing a taliban no only makes the game more realistic, but it creates a nice balance.
Double Toasted, you're clearly and idiot/fanboy who took offense to a perfectly logical arguement that I put forward.
At what point did I say people should switch console? If you have a 360 and are happy with it then stick with it. What I'm saying is that, theres 6 billion people in this world. Not everyone has a next gen console yet. If MS want to stay competitive they should offer cheaper deals and package on XBL instead of making consumers pay for things that are free else...
Meanwhile, while they play those Kinect "games" such as Harry Potter and Dance Central, I'll be playing Zelda Skyward Sword, Donkey Kong, Killzone 3 and more.
This thing could sell 30 million at launch and I still wouldn't care. There are no hardcore games for the tech.
@Venatus-Deus
My point is that the games are rehashed yearly, with little to no true improvements and rape games that genuinley try to push the envelope a bit. What I'm saying is that the UK is very narrow minded in it's game purchases. Good on you that you can enjoy those two games and still have time for other games. I'm critisizing the millions in the UK that outnumber you who only buy COD and Fifa yearly. That's a large majority of the UK core gamer market...
That to me is pretty much confirmation that the game exists. TGS would be the perfect time to announce it. Disgaea 4, Tales of Graces F, New Tales of, Final Fantasy Versus XIII and now Valkyria Chronicles 3. TGS should be a good event for PS3 RPG's.
Why would they? What they do need to respond to though is the ever growing Playstation Network as a whole. Application/Content wise, PSN is a worthy rival to live and, I can't see how Microsoft can still justify making users pay for a service that is already supplemented with extra profit from advertising. The online gaming AT LEAST, should be free or if anything, at a reduced price. Like I think if MS want to keep customers paying, then they should at least do like packages. Say, Online ...
Yeah. There are lot of people that play a much wider variety of games. I just wish there was more of them. Literally in my area, most people just play FPS and sports games. And like you say, looking at the charts...it's just awful lol
Fifa and COD. That's just about all 70% of UK gamers care about. It's quite saddening really.
That's why I edited what I said. But no doubt the US will be opposed to it too.
edhe....I wish people like you would stop saying "the PS3 has had 4 years". Not only has it been more expensive but it's biggest game hasn't even see the light of day yet. We'll see what happens. But personally I couldn't care less. The amount of exclusive games coming to PS3 from Sony and 3rd parties is frying my brain. That's a good sign of things to come and is all I really care about.
Wow this thread is lively. Lots of debates. Nice....
Meanwhile I continue to enjoy some early morning Super Street Fighter IV. It's good to see all the systems healthy but theres not much to debate over. Xbox 360 leads over PS3 in US but in Japan and Europe it's a different story. Wii dominates both, and all 3 have a healthy enough install base to stay on the market for another 3 years AT LEAST meaning people like us can continue to get spoiled with game after game. Same with ...
Ridiculous. Yet it was ok for me to kill Afghans, civilians and Russians in that poor excuse for a game, Modern Warfare 2. US is the most judgemental and voiced nation in the world. It's rather annnoying. Wish they would pipe down for once instead of having their nose and opinion in everybloody situation that comes up. They're no better than anyone else.
EDIT: So that I don't offend too many Americans here, I'd also say the same for my country, the UK. People...
Everyday Kinect is becoming more a travesty. All this hype and features keep on getting removed along with a beyond lackluster line up of games, some of which clearly don't work. MS are putting all of their eggs into the Kinect basket and now I'm wondering if they're sure they know what they're doing.
