Judging by what we've seen, I don't think Kinect will. It may sell well, but why does that matter to anyone on this website? It's not like Microsoft is gonna give you any of the money they make off of it.
Kinect was hyped as the next evolution in gaming. With a CPU, the ability to scan in objects to use in game as well as the ability to detect sign language. Fast forward to now, all 3 of those features are no longer happening, and the launch games line up is poor...
Optical_Matrix is ready for one of the most high profile collaborations this generation. I hope the game is in a playable form on the show floor so I can play it on the public days.
I'll wait. Final Fantasy XIV Online next year will keep me busy. As well as all the other sexy games. Versus XIII release date in 2011 would probably cause me to explode.

Killzone was never there to beat. It's Sony flagship FPS and therefore has no reason to "beat" Halo. And when did they beat Gran Turismo 5. Last time I checked the last few Forza sales combined don't even equal the sales of Gran Turismo 3. Nor did the critical acclaim and respect the series has in comparison to that held by Gran Turismo. And half these games are multiplat/unannounced. What an awful article.
What envy? Excuse us for trying to expose the lie that is Microsoft Kinect. Not sure how a PS3 owner can be envious with an absolute blitz of exclusive and multiplat titles ready to hit us from now until well into 2011. If you mean sales, then that too...because personally Sony's financial situation will only effect me when or if they go bust and I can't buy anymore sexy Playstation games.
PS3 has had Kinect "like" technology since last gen. It's called Eyetoy. Wiki it.

Admittedly man this is an MMO. And sustaining a huge open world RPG like this requires some hefty RAM. PS3 hasn't got the luxury of 2GB+ like most decent 2009/2010 rigs.
In the past eight months I've seen Virtua Tennis 4, Ninokuni, Disgaea 4, Tales of Graces F, Mass Effect 2 port, Infamous 2, Killzone 3, Motorstorm 3, Little Big Planet 2, New Tales of, A.C.E.R, Ape Escape 4, Resistance 3, R&C All 4 One all announced for the PS3. I know some are 1st party but wtf do you mean developers don't support 3. It's got the most support this year and next out of all 3 current gen systems.

Wrong. All would entail that 100% of multiplats are better on 360. Prime example. FFXIII 360 was an awful port before 720p, crappy textures, lack of self shading, multiple discs and awful cutscene quality. The PS3 version also outsold it 2/3:1. Also I never laughed at MS at all. I was once a Wii only owner until I got a PS3 in december 2007. For that entire yeah I slated the PS3 to the extent you Xbox 360 fanboys and the media did. I'm biased. I wont' lie. The reason why 3rd parties didn't jump on PS3 was awful market share compared to 360 and it being hard to programme for. The PS3 now has market share thats pretty much on par with 360's save a few million and 3rd party devs find it easier to develop for. Look at the amount of 3rd party exclusives coming to the PS3 for evidence of this. Now what makes you think that when next gen starts, 3rd party will jump on tech that will be even more expensive to develop for, have much less market ...
You make good points. But also, my main point really is that they have no long term business stratergy. What if Kinect fails? It's not like they have nothing to fall back on. To me this gen Microsoft has been taking that me too attitude. They need their own identity. They spent the past 5 years trying to be Sony. Now they're gonna spend the next 5 trying to be Nintendo. Reach looks great. Rich in content and I think that, it doesn't need such a huge marketing campaign. The game could sell itself. The user base know it's coming out. MS should spend that money on something else.
I find it hilarious how when Move was revealed at E3 2009, the media and fanboys a like rushed to claim that Sony had rushed out the announcement to respond to Kinect. Don't forget scanning real world objects to use as in game items. Haven't seen that demonstrated. They convineantly forgot it at E3 2010. Also other silly things like 2 player only. I'm sorry. But for £130..Kinect is beyond a joke.
Notice how the ones with lower scores than Forza are the unfinished versions of the games and the PSP game which is essentially GT4 portable. Then take a look at GT1-5. On average Forza has a lower metacritic. So where are you going with this? Good job owning yourself.
