Considering Quantum Break is slated for a Late 2014/Early 2015 release window. They should be far enough in that they MAY have an announcement for Alan Wake 2 like they did with the first.
But if Alan Wake 2 were to happen it'd be if they absorbed Remedy as a First party studio.
Wrong
Halo has always had a 3 year development cycle of each major game. GoW has had 2-3 year development cycles.
And as far as Milking goes? Bring on the investments. Halo TV series...Halo Webseries...Halo Digital features...Halo Video games....Halo Boardgames...Etc.
The brand Halo is the face of Xbox, so why not invest money into the face of a whole division? They'd be crazy not to.
The Last Guardian would be a system seller for PS4. No lies.
FF XV Release Date in Japan will probably be announced at TGS. And then the Europe/West release date will be announced a year after.
Pokemon World would just kick MAJOR ASS! My friends and I agree a Pokemon MMO would sell them on a Wii U and give me more people to play with. They'd have to buff up their servers but it'd be sweet.
Well this article was filled with awful speculations. Non of which were "Bold".
1. Microsoft doesn't need to get rid of the Kinect to lower the price point between systems, and announcing a Kinectless SKU just means they flushed billions down the drain for nothing. It's here for better or worse.
2. Remodel the Wii U? and Drop the price point again? Sure Nintendo could do that, but they're probably just going to go based on the same model...
Your name is quite ironic...For a guy who speaks the truth I see a lot of Bias fanboyism. I rather take Indies on my PC.
PC = Indies Home, why buy a console when the difference in games is Indies?
I'd rather take decent indies then a cluster fuck of bad PC port indies. Thanks.
Bring on the Conker/Battletoads/Perfect Dark/Banjo Anniversary editions.
I would love for that to become a nice way to gauge consumer demand for old IPs. We get a refreshing nostalgic game and possibly contribute to the development of future sequels.
Most people look at them as "Cash Grabs"....
@Massacred
Yes Rare was involved FORMER members of Rare like Ken Lobb were hired DIRECTLY into Microsoft Game Studios to work on KI as an Internal team. That's why when Double Helix left Microsoft wasn't sweating because they had the core Rare team still there.
And Killer Instinct worked out pretty well especially since X1 wasn't supposed to hit till this year.
Quantum Break is because Remedy RARELY shows/talks much about their games when they make them. Alan Wake/Max Payne were only seeable at conferences and in interviews they answered all the questions the same. Remedy have proven themselves with those two games and Quantum Break will blend the Storytelling/Action of Alan Wake with Max Paynes Intense Gun action.
Insomniac confirmed Sunset Overdrive would hit 2014 when X1 launched. They released a tweet about it, so yes it's c...
Insomniac confirmed Sunset Overdrive 2014
Halo 2 Anniversary makes sense for a release this year. Helps give Halo 5 the 3 time frame it needs.
D4 is a wildcard.
WoW you couldn't be anymore of a bigger PS4 Fanboy.
You left out Wolfenstein (Doom 4 Pre order access? It'll sell)
ARKHAM KNIGHT (Rocksteadys conclusion to Batman? That'll move units and people who were just looking for a reason to buy the X1 with exclusives like Halo will buy it then)
"X720 units" because ALL PS4 games are 1080p right? Nope... If you're going to bash on a system for resolution you may want to sack up and invest in a...
But it's what Capcom is going to give.
I would love for them to make an intense Co-op experience but it's kind of one or the other.
I'll take the Co-op game over them attempting to bring back the Resident Evil feel. They've gotten too far away from it.
I'll probably buy it. Just because I always like a new Co-op game. Even if I spend most of my time laughing with my buddy.
I doubt RE7 will save Capcom. Hopefully they sell off their assets to some studios who are passionate about making games like RE1/2.
This may be the first time since Fable 1 where I'm impressed by the Graphical Fidelity in the game.
Course I'm waiting for more info on Fable Legends. Hope they keep teasing info leading up to E3.
Yeah CoD is a bit overrated and I think I've only played the last few for the SP, Except BO2...That was just a train wreck.
I played Ghosts for Stephen Lang because he's got a nice voice and he's my dream "Deathstroke".
Black Ops Campaign was good...When they replaced Ed Harris with Michael Keaton in 2 I was so disappointed.
Black Ops 1 had a pretty strong cast in it...Gary Oldman/Sam Worthington/Ed Harris/Ice Cube.
Microsoft only option is to go down the AAA gaming path.
Taking a page from Sony and building more AAA First Party Studios to diversify the genres and give all gamers an incentive to buy their platform.
It's all about Games, not graphics...not price...not peripherals. GAMES will sell consoles. Hype dies down but if they have a stable variety of AAA games they'll be able to shorten the gap.
PS4 will always sell more due to the Worldwid...
It's N4G, Stealth disagrees are infamous here.
Their biggest HYPED title of last E3 hit. It clearly sold well since the game is the top game of the month.
But their biggest title will probably be Quantum Break and Halo.
Hoping for an Open World Halo like Destiny. It'd be pretty sweet for them to use the Cloud to create another Living breathing world like Sunset Overdrive and Fable Legends are going to be.
I can dream...
Well Phil Spencer clarified that they had unannounced STUDIOS to reveal at E3. So they could be studios dedicated to making Rare games like Banjo or Conker. We know that KI3 was a hit with Double Helix and clearly Rare is still dedicated to making fun new games. They'll probably continue down that path.
Playgound WILL show off Horizon 2.
Alan Wake 2 MIGHT get a teaser, I remember Sam Lake releasing a video of why they weren't doing Alan Wake 2 last y...
