Im pretty sure it had to do with the studio size for not putting in co-op, RAD is small and probably didnt have the time or manpower to implement it and probably wanted the first game to set the story first. I'm hoping sequel adds co-op, because this initial game kind of looks like a $60 movie. The closest comparison I can make to this game is the First Resistance:FOM, it was insomniacs first attempt much like RAD's into a game world they where not familiar with. The stories for both ...
My go to shooters this year will be Destiny and Planetside 2, Evolve not too far behind. Call of duty might be good this time around, but I'll just wait and see, Battlefield Hardline looks kind of boring in comparison.
Stop teasin, when's the release date for beta and full game SOE?
Resistance Fall of Man was pretty good for a launch title, pretty much had it all great story, coop and multiplayer. Was also a linear title and people criticized it for it, but you couldn't find a grittier and better told story at the time, narration and cinematics were movie-like. Thats one aspect I like about the Order, but the only downside for me is unlike Resistance there's limited replayability since they took out coop.
Sweet, hope so. But, why is it so difficult to port purchased items over? Cant you just log in the game with SOE account and verify that way?
Sometimes I think your Abriel's troll alt.
I see no reason why it wouldn't mainly because they know exactly what specs are and have are pretty much a 1st party dev.
From that list my top picks would be: Evolve, Alien:Isolation, New COD (if it turns out to be good), and AC:Unity.
Only exclusive I would eventually pick up is TLOU.
You actually have 72 :).
Im glad im no longer part of that freemium figure spent a couple bucks prob about or less than $20 in the entire time I've played mobile and Its really not worth it. I know in one game im playing there were guys who supposedly spent thousands to get to the top spot on leaderboard.
LOL at all the people thinking Sony wasnt planning ahead, they didnt go through with it because of negative reaction. But it isnt unlikely for a business to come up with something like this in the background, think of other companies in real life like banks and whatnot. You really think they aren't thinking of ways of getting more off of you?
I still think Sony and Microsoft are pushing this digital trend way to early. For Steam it works well because PC's usually have a couple TB of space and the files are smaller and are probably better compressed. But for consoles the game files are HUGE and take up more bandwidth and putting that on a 500gb HDD? after a while that will seem like nothing. Not to mention the discounts are much more substantial on steam then they are on console, on console that best you can get is a 50% discou...
Wow that was the best you got, how about actually coming up with reasons of your own instead of leaving snobby half-assed remarks looking for upvotes eh?
Im not saying game insnt any good, but people are making a big deal over a $10 discount when its prob gonna drop by alot more in a few months. And alot of those people already own the game, thats what I was trying to get across.
Im thinking about this those two games as well (just havent considered FPS), but for me its tie between destiny and new COD. I havent played one in a while but longer dev cycle and the new promise for single and MP looks like it might finally bring something new to the table. On the other hand alot of people I know in gaming groups and personal friends are getting Destiny so I might get both depending on how well COD changes things up.
Dont see point in people who already have it on PS3 to pick up remastered on release, remastered games will likely be first to be discounted during sales. I havent played it before or GTA 5 for that matter since my PS3 broke before games came out, but Im waiting for a bigger discount for both TLOU and GTA remasters.
sweeet! a collectors edition of this game and Destiny would easily make my list for the year....If I had the money! lol can barely buy whats coming out this year.
