I played destiny beta and it wasnt that much fun for me especially the PvP, alot of ppl in my clan didn't like the PvP either. Its one of reasons I cancelled my pre order for LE. Evolve, however looks much better and more fun for PvP.
I liked the game, mainly because I never played it before and the DLC included with the game is better then what they are selling on store (helmets). I don't even like the DLC helmets anyway, like the look of the free ones ironically. Though I admit from what I heard about game it gave me the impression that ALL DLC was included. At least its not anything major though.

Pretty great article I figured digital would be a one way deal for a while. I got a notice for having an alt for fun that was less obvious and with barely any comments and got all my comments marked as spam by the mod, but this guy has 3-4 who knows how many more blatantly obvious alt accounts that all start with "Xi" at the beginning and they are all permitted? and rarely marked as spam. I picked this game on release... but after seeing last sale put price down to 8 bucks felt a little buyers remorse.. Well atleast they have the discount I never had, lol.
If I have to literally boot up the old version and make a side by side comparison to tell the difference, then the difference is not that big. Plus my PS3 died before this game or GTA5 came out. I put my money into PS4 and already have this game on pre order, but the point is what they are showing is not very impressive, I'll wait till someone posts a full 1080p 60fps vid to judge. Meanwhile these articles are just an inacurate tease.
The environment looks good, but it dosent look like its that much different from PS3 version from these shots... earlier direct feed shots looked better then this.
Gets too nitpicky when you cant even compare games in the same genre anymore. I still do it for myself and for friends, but that's mainly for comparing value when I have to make decision between one over another.
Im optimistic Sony can get the IP back eventually, otherwise why would they go to trouble of including it in trailer on release of PS4 as a teaser? Activision has a poor record with making the games and would make more money from selling it back to ND or Sony. It's all a matter of time...and money, lol.

Whatever man this game looks fun to me and has an interesting twist with monster vs human, I'm not seeing COD in here at all. Ironic that you would consider Evolve to be generic and COD-like while praising Destiny, when its own PvP is generic aside from special powers and the gun on gun is more similar to COD then evolve is.
Seems like your only genuine gripe is that this game dosen't seem to "have a story" when we have yet to he...
