Makes me wonder where that infusion of cash from PS plus subs is going toward, if not the actual network. Seems more of it is just used to give us those indie games every month as opposed to improving the service of the network.
Im def getting this game, but with seasons pass im not sure if I wana wait until black friday or year later to get full experience at a good price.
On a related note..the alien anthology blu-ray set is $25 on Amazon now.

The value in the service is in the eco-system its like apple the more products you buy from them the more you get out of it. But alot of people only have a PS4, I myself only have a PS4 since my PS3 had YLOD and right now I feel that PS plus is just not offering much for the money.
I think 'll get more out of free to play titles like planetside 2 that are independent of PS plus then what they offer as perks every month, atleast until the program picks up when the console ...
Its decent but its value is subjective based on whether or not you like what they offer for games as a a perk. Or how much multiplayer you play. For me it made sense since I play with a BF4 clan, even then im unsure if im neccesarily getting more value since the online nature was free last gen anyway and I am only left to assume that they did SOMETHING in the background to make it more reliable like adding more servers, which is probably a developer type issue more than sonys.
Yeah I was excited for this game mainly for single player because of spacey, then remembered how much COD multiplayer annoyed me because of campers and quickscopers. I'll just watch story on gameplay walkthroughs and avoid the buzzkill online gameplay.
Just waiting for black friday to pick it up with discounted ps plus sub, spent alot already this year with shadows of mordor recently and still have far cry 4 pre-ordered.
I think ultimately this parity debate was probably a cover up way to say consoles cant handle this game at 1080p 60 fps. Which kinda makes sense given the A.I and amount of stuff happening on screen.
How can you have bad taste in your mouth when they are giving this game away for free(well included in your sub..lol)?
I think the atuhor missed the point. The difference may not be that big, but the point is to not let them lower standards period. Just because they expect people to 'buy it anyway' and come on man: "This is setting a dangerous precedent for developers, who might now worry about their image and resolution more than gameplay." that's just a dumb statement, gameplay is always a priority, but games have for the most part always tried to maximize visuals on top of that anyway...
Still looking forward to FC4 and GTA 5 Re-do and planetside 2. PS2 alone will make the year for me plus Shadows of mordor fun as hell so far.

I think the A.I for this game is too complex for a higher frame rate, but I definitely think they could still push for 1080p at least.
@guitarded77 As someone whos played warhawk, I can honestly say PS2 is going to be my main online multiplayer game for rest 2014 and most of 2015 if not then battlefront 3.

Exact way I felt when EA cancelled last command and conquer game they were working on. They even messed up the conclusion to tiberium wars saga with C&C 4, where they got rid of fundamental game mechanic of resource collection and base building for this new hybrid strategy...basically flipping the games core on its head.

Still waiting to see how low it goes on Blackfriday so I can also pick up seasons pass.
