Seriously, I like the system of: Buy, Try, Fry.
They can't turn it into a number so yeah it makes the most sense.
Way to bring an unrelated game to the conversation, and first comment to boot!
Anyway, Crysis 2 looks good. I hope the story's a little better than the first though.
Have they fixed the 1 to 1 motion with the sword yet? I'm not going to buy this game if it plays like it did at E3 2010.
Killzone 3. Nuff said.
It looks better than R2, but it doesn't have the appeal that Killzone 3 or Uncharted 3 have brought me. There's no epic moments that hype me up. I will hold my judgment though as I know this is an early level and there'll probably be something sooner or later that will blow my mind.
Reach is way overrated (as is all of the Call of Duty games). It's in the $10 bin at Wal-Mart so what does that tell ya? Anyway, I played the beta, and I wasn't impressed (first time playing a Halo game since the 2nd). Cousin comes over with his 360 and Halo over Thanksgiving, and I still wasn't impressed.
For the 360 trolls that are commenting here, here's a joke of a comparison that will run rampant on this site next year: Gears 3 vs. Uncharted 3. It's like comparing Justin Bieber to the Beatles. Anyway, since both games are vastly different, I say they both win.
Israel. I just hope that this isn't the actual third game of the series. Altair had his moment and so has Ezio. Bring on a new assassin.
Wow... It looks like I won't be buying Battlefield 3 then. This is my first Battlefield game I've missed.
If TheMart and Murderdolls can switch to PS3, I believe all Xbox 360 fanboys can.
It only does fanboy conversion.
Minecraft is crazy addicting. I just built a lava moat... But yeah, there have been many of those moments (which is why I store my diamond ore most of the time instead of creating armor out of it).
I think I've received over $400 of 'free' stuff with PS+. The same can't be said for the other consoles.
Isn't there a word beginning with the letters I, G, and N? Can someone help me out here?
PS3 is in a league of its own. Free online, tons of exclusives, non proprietary accessories. It can't be beat.
This footage is new: powerlines light up, graphics a better, there's a bat battle at the beginning, buildings were destroyed and balconies were collapsing.
At least I think all of this is new.
Awesome.
Edit: Okay, man. This is insane - this comes out next November, and it's already looking THAT good (for example, there's wallpaper on fire... the fire is rising up the wall, and the wallpaper on fire is falling off). These little things are not needed in the game, but that's what is so amazing. How Naughty Dog pushes a game of this caliber out every two years is beyond me.
2011 is the year of empty wallets. From the 3DS to the list of PS3 exclusives, my wallet's gonna be crying this time next year.
All third person shooter games:
[insert game] inspired/influenced by Uncharted.
It holds the most awards won after all. Come to think of it, didn't Naughty Dog give a lot of special thanks to Bungie and company?
Considering Nintendo is the frontrunner of the platform genre, they can keep using 'old school' game design all they'd like. Now Squenix is a different story. I haven't bought a game from them since Final Fantasy 10.
After reading this, my wallet killed itself. Poor Jerry.
