tl;dr. I just want to make one comment: Apple's Mac OS X isn't locked down to any computers. I can take my Leopard and Snow Leopard discs and give them to my buddies and family if they ever need them. Microsoft's lockdown has always been stupid.
See, that's the thing. As hardware, you can throw your blu-ray dvd in the water, burn it, scratch it up, throw it someone, run it over, eat it. As software, you can't do shit with it because it's the developer's; you can't edit the code if you want, or have Nathan Drake's head on Master Chief's body.
This is where it gets deep though because they are saying you don't own that hardware. That's retarded.

Just as your opinion is your own, timmy. In past events, there have been research articles on Edge magazine, and they showed favoritism of the Xbox 360. IGN has shown they aren't the brightest crayons in the box with their scores on the 360 side: FF13 being a very good example compared to Bayonetta. Why does FF13 get a .1 point lower for the 360, when the PS3 version of Bayonetta falls 1.5 points. It's unacceptable, and that's why I no longer trust their reviews.

Makes me feel better. I spent $80 on Live until my Xbox 360 died. I'm glad I'm saving money. I may have to buy another when Fable 3 hits though.
Here's what I'm thinking: Those who bought the one year between the first 30 days of Plus get in the beta. Those who bought the three months, there's no need because there Plus will have expired. Those who try to buy Plus for 3 months just to get into beta won't get in.

This game looks great, but I'm concerned with length... has anyone heard anything on how long just a campaign is? Normally I play through Ratchet and Clank on Hard and the ultra hard difficulties before I put it away to play another day.
People were thinking this Halo game was the end-all, be-all of FPS. The hype train was past full steam ahead and hitting ludicrous speed. The apparent faults of the game are short single player and the same old routine with added armor abilities.
