Elven6 your opinion is incorrect & misinformed ~
"Just to be clear on this, i4i ****isn't a patent troll**** -- it's a a 30 person database design company that shipped one of the first XML plugins for Office and was actually responsible for revamping the entire USPTO database around XML to make it compatible with Word back in 2000. What's more, the patents involved here don't cover XML itself, but rather the specific algorithms used to read and write custom XML -- so Ope...
Actually kartik21 his bias and posts of misinformation are easily disputed, especially since the PLAYSTATION line of products are not 3rd. See! Factual information that he can't refute...and even if he would like to he can't because he has no bubbles (which in itself explains a lot).
Not when 2 of the largest retailers in the US (Walmart & Amazon) are not counted. That is why VGChartz is also not reliable...nothing but guesses & estimates NOT actual/factual hard numbers for proof.
^^^ Not all Americans (maybe for American children I would agree). I for one and quite a few friends/family can't be bothered with it...we are more about REAL skilled FPS's for PC and Consoles~ CS, Killzone 2, Some Quake, Half Life series, AvP's, SOME CoD's (more-so for PC), MoH's, DoD, Doom, Tom Clancy's and quite a few others. Sorry but Halo is for misinformed kids who believe that is what a FPS is supposed to be like. Nope.
Rocco please read my post to TheTruth2009 above as it applies to you as well...
Just for you TheTruth2009 ~
Shhh! (that is a factual comment which is based in rationality & supported with proof which certain types of gamers don't believe or want to discuss)... ;)
You are only partially correct lowcarb. Yes there were failures on PS2's but the percentage amount of those broken do not equal that of the 360's. Which is why it is not an issue because what some fail to mention is that the %'s were still within an acceptable industry standard. The only reason why it "seemed" like a lot is because it is still in the "Millions"
2-3% of 125 Million is 2.5-3.75 Million ~ PS2
33+% of 34 Million is 11 Million+ ~ 360 ...
^^^ Oh really now silverchode...
Gran Turismo 1 - 10.85 million
Gran Turismo 2 - 9.37 million
Gran Turismo 3 - 14.89 million
Gran Turismo 4 - 10.06 million
"i hope SE didn't restrict the amount of freedom in the final third of the game due to the 360 limitations"
I'm really sorry to say this but they have. It is the only logical explanation for the linearity and limited freedom. The shear fact of SE having to deal with multiple discs for the 360's version makes it so.
In all honesty the graphics *may* be on par with each other for actual gameplay, but the CG scenes, linearity & freedom take the biggest hit...

@ TheHater ~ Don't forget the most biased & misinformed Fanboy Grandfather of them all ~ "Bruceongames"
Man do I hate that guy. Seriously.
You really are some sort of stupid aren't you?
Even with PROOF that you were wrong from the start you STILL won't admit it. But here is the coup de grâce which you cannot finagle your way out of, to end this & fully prove you wrong...AGAIN...as usual ~

Read my comment a few posts up @ 10.1 it explains what this "demo" is really about.
That's fine it's your "opinion" but that just shows you are mistaken to judge what has been confirmed as a PHYSICS time trial for the purpose of a contest to give the best feel of a 370z for the winner to move on to GT Academy to be a REAL RACE CAR DRIVER...not particularly a "demo" to showcase GT5's graphics (as again it has been confirmed to be stripped down graphically). Take it whatever way you want, but you are misguided in not adjusting for that fact.
Excellent post with factual information jalen247
