It would be nice if they used Natural Motions "Endorphin" game engine for character movement and interaction. It would also help if the game could somehow simulate "botches" randomly. (about 2% chance every match)

You are correct. Arma is supposed to be a simulator but DayZ isn't a simulation. It's annoying when you are pron and it takes 10 seconds to get up and start running. The Zombies in the game run faster than a healthy human. It's unbelievable.
Very cool. However this would slow my PC to a crawl. Not sure what his setup is but even default minecraft can be taxing on a good system.
The clunky controls aren't a bug. The base game (arma 2) has slugish/clunky controls too. The Arma 2 engine is so poorly optimized it's not even funny. I'v played other games that are graphically superior that run better!
This mod is so tedious it's not even fun. Sick and tired of "Zombie" games where the zombies can run faster than I can despite them not having any motor skills are limbs that have muscle tissue missing. Fuck logic right?

Not sure why people like this game. Tried playing it with a friend today for a few hours and it's boring. The controls are clunky as hell also. And the fact it uses the Arma 2 engine doesn't help.
Zombies magically spawn in front of you and can even run faster than the player. Pretty terrible imo.
Not buying it this time around. I could just download the Easter Fronts mod if I want to play as Russia.
Would have been better if it was set in a different time period.

Since when was TDKR main stream? It's a movie. People will see it then forget about it. Then it will come out on DVD and they will watch it a few times then it will sit on their shelf and collect dust because why put it in your DVD player when it's on cable tv?

The irony here is that the daily news such as FOX/CNN etc show vulgar, violent footage on a daily basis. Every time I see a story like THIS (blame video games) on FOX it makes me want to go ape shit and attack them people who work there... lol
