They will be missed. Before the whole internet thing there was only monthly gaming mags. EGM was always the best. I am sure that many of them will find game work elsewhere though. Shoe and Crispin will wind up working for IGN would be my guess. They could always just make EGM into a website. Bummer. My collection of EGM's has come to the end.

You are so right dude. Just like 360 fans want Killzone 2 and God of War 3, and Metal Gear 4. It's called an exclusive. The whole point of an exclusive is to generate buzz to sell consoles. If there was a biased against Sony why would sites like IGN give MGS4 a perfect 10. Why would all these sites be praising Killzone 2 so much before its release. Get that fan boy crap out of here. Use a real argument, or at least be creative with a bad argument. You sound like a republican.
I hear you. When PS3 drops price you know it will increase sales big time. Then they will drop it again within another year to year and a half. MS can't really afford to drop the price of the Arcade version much more. Maybe 50 tops. Wait till PS3's low end model is $199 in two years. Basically Sony can sustain using intermittent price drops here and there. MS's lead will slowly dwindle under the first price cut, then with the second, Sony surpasses. Within two years the 360 will be an after ...

I don't like to include the Wii in this argument. The wii is well the wii. It does what it does. YAHOO!! Great for Nintendo. The real console war is 360 vs. PS3, they may sell less but they are the natural extension of the modern console. The Wii was made for mass market penetration. It may sell well, but to me the wii is just crap. I still would rather play Gamecube.
It's all about bang for your buck. And video games are the only entertainment medium to provide a great deal like they do. 30 hours of fun for 60 bucks. You can't even get that at Disney Land.
PS3 is the tortoise and 360 is the hair.

You think this is moving PS3's? Just wait until Final Fantasy drops. It may sell better on 360 in the states, but watch what happens in Japan. PS3 will take off there just like old times.

In this economic environment it wouldn't surprise me to see these results turn out like this. PS3 will see a price drop at some point this year. Plus with a such a killer line-up in 09 (way better than 08) they can't fail.
I like blood and guts. Fallout 3 would not be nearly as good if it lacked the gore that comes from using VATS!
