Analysts just make their predictions based on past and current trends. Nintendo was a flop for a few years so the Wii at first was a predicted flop. 360 has had some good years + new Halo so they see these trends continuing. So it boggles my mind that they don't take more stock in the killer line-up that Sony has coming. Killzone 2 is moving copies already and we all know this. It still has over a month before release. I would bet money that next Sunday we see the media blitz for Killzone 2...

Each of them on their own may not have had a big impact. But together they paint a very compelling picture for consumers. If you couple it with a price drop as well, it could be even bigger. Just wait LBP will sell more. The more people that buy the console, the more those old games will see sales increases. A price drop could really go a long way for sony.
