you're overhyping it...you don't even know if those set pieces are really playable. Uncharted 2 blew everyone away with that EPIC E3 demo with the helicopter. That was something never seen in gaming before, real time set pieces. Uncharted raised the bar. Everyone now tries to do such moments (Max Payne, Battlefield, CoD, etc...). Scenes like the train sequence, sinking boat and crashing plane are still to be beated this generation.
Looks awesome...I just can't tell if those set pieces are scripted events or gameplay scenes like Uncharted. The graphics are pretty mediocre and the voice acting is atrocious, but it sure looks promising.
To the people trashing Uncharted and praising Tomb Raider. How many awards did the TR series won and how many did Uncharted won? It's not because of the games, it's because of the devs. Naughty Dog is brilliant.
This video was absolutely pointless. So colors mean it's better? Games like LIMBO are black and white and look fukin dope Journey for example will look awesome in 10 years. And just because a game will not look good in 10 years doesn't mean it has some fukin good graphics. Look at FF7 for example, it looks like a joke nowadays, but that doesn't mean it's not one of the best games ever. The same goes with Deus Ex, Half Life, Shadow of The Colossus and so on.
I ...
A new Syphon Filter.
I srls dont care if a game lasts for 100h or 1h. If I want to play games just to pass time, I'll play FIFA or some MP game. The 3h I spent playing Journey were far more memorable and amazing that those nearly 150h playing Skyrim for example.
It's like saying a bigger book is better than a small book. So poetry sucks because it's small? Of course an open world game is going to be longer than a linear game. IMO some games are ok to be short (LIMBO, Journey, Uncharte...
People said the same about arcades and CD's and other hardware and media. It's called progress.
But just don't be so cocky about it Nvidia, it's not like you reivented the wheel. Besides, this idea doesn't seem that accurate at all, it has potential, but I doubt it would kill the consoles right away. Remember OnLive? It was said to kill consoles, pcs and everything related to video-games lmao
Finally Hulk can play video-games. Just look at the size of that thing!
R* do whatever the f*ck they want, that's why they're awesome. I predict a GTAV epic trailer the day before E3.
An HD remake as a launch title? okaaay
And yet more gimmicks. I really can't wait for the sholvelware and mario titles coming soon! /ironyoff
As far as I remember, everyone was blown away back in 2009 with that UC2 demo at E3, even PC gamers. It was said to be the game that truly could be compared to Crysis.
I can't understand people who trash Uncharted graphics because it's linear but praiser BF3 when it's even more linear. I don't remember BF3 having a freaking real time plane crash. Or a real time siking ship in the middle of the ocean. Or a real time chateau burning.
ND are masters of tech and graphics. They've squeezed the PS3 like no one has. That's talent and hardwork, that's awesome.
EDGE: "This game is great, I think it deserves an 8. Wait, is it a PS3 exclusive? Cut 1 point off! 7 it is!"
I would like to see something like Journey, not the typical competitive win/lose kinda of MP neither that generic co-op.
It might not look better than BF3 or so, but it certainly looks more beautiful. The lightning and colors are amazing and that polish and attention to detail still remains great.
I doubt any game, even in PC, looks as good as this:

You judge a game bu screenshots? You must have played UC3 in youtube lmao Uncharted 3 looks way better running in a PS3. And why don't you put screenshots of the desert scene? Or the plane scene? How about the horse riding scene?
If you think of this generation as the casual/gimmick generation then yup Nintendo influenced a lot and won it. But sincerely, I don't care about consoles, sells or marketing. Games is what gamers want. And I don't think Nintendo had any influence this generation, they only introduced rehashed Eyetoy games such as WiiFit that mean nothing for gamers and live with their past with series like Mario and Zelda.
When you think of games that defined this generation, you th...
New series and multiplats. That's all the Wii U needs to be sucessful. Or you can go the easy route and keep the casual market and gimmick stuff and just keeping on making Marios and Zeldas.
Everything with choices and some customisation is a RPG game nowadays...
And it's funny how he says Dead Island is a RPG from 2011 but completely ignores Deus Ex.
