On topic, This game was really buggy at launch but after a few months in worked fine.
It was certainly a better game than the third one.

You realize sony have been close to bankruptcy several times the gen. They aren't the unstoppable force you think they are.
They just make good games that don't sell well.
The failed to completely shut sony out of the industry.
But they did become as large as sony in the market, Which is no small task.
Rockstar did confirm it. But to be fair to sony and rockstar. The Ps3 was a new high tech piece of kit so it would of taken some getting used too. Also it came out a year later so was probably behind in development.

Nope, I spent £250 on my ps3. Haven't turned it on since November 2011.
I said right from the beginning it was going to awful and pro USA.
Hundreds of disagrees later and i was right.
It was a terrible game and im annoyed i ended up buying it even though i knew it was bad.

The main reason it failed was because of advertising.
Which is the main reason most PS3 exclusives get lower sales.
I literally didn't even know PASBR was out until a month later when i happened to see a review.
I didn't see a single advert, trailer, Poster or anything.
Sony quite simply don't advertise. It was the same for uncharted 3, If it wasn't for the fact i had preordered and was interested in the game i wouldn...
From what ive seen of the game play. It looks awful, Just watch the first 20 minutes.
Terrible voice acting, game play and the first alien encounter is just dreadfully anticlimactic.
The worst part is for most of the game you are fighting humans.
