No the reason for the huge prices is because sony like to rip people off.
Well i own both the 360 and the PS3 and i will still be buying it for the 360 simple because the 360 is the better console.
Id much rather take 20 seconds changing a disk then spend half and hour installing a game that i will have to spend another 10 minutes searching though the PS3s ridiculous interface to delete it after Ive traded it in.

Party chat beats everything on PS +. I have my 360 turn on and im in party chat while i play the ps3.
I never have my ps3 on while i play my 360.
For that reason i buy all my multiplatforms for the 360 and as a direct result of that i haven't played a single game on my ps3 since uncharted 3 came out.
I also prefer achievement to trophies which is another reason i never by multiplatforms for the ps3. But that's my personally preference and of n...

Its actually pretty easy. 1 Shop buys 100 consoles, they then sell the 100 consoles and buy another 100 consoles.

Even if sony had SOLD 77 million its only 1.1 million off which is pretty much down to japan being completely biased when it comes to consoles.
