GTA IV was easily my favorite.
I liked all the characters that were you're "friends"
I thought the story was very well paced out, it was a nice long story. GTA should always be a long game because they have to tell an entire characters story in 1 game.
GTA IV Had plenty of over the top missions, Three leaf clover, the libertonian come to mind.

Grand Theft Auto IV is the best GTA and has brilliantly funny and addicting mulitplayer that is still one of the most played games online to date.

Yeah, that's the point. Its stealth its meant to be hard.
I also class myself as a true hitman fan and i enjoyed it.
My best advice is put it on the hardest setting from the get go, As this removes any assists and its the most like the previous games.
They should go back to the third person shooter with James Bond, Make it more like 007 Everything or nothing and not just a re-skinned COD.
So basically the only way it will do well is if Activision sell it.
