How do you know that the headset won't be doing the major lifting?
Oculus is relying mostly on PC's doing the gpu work, but what if Sony does the opposite?
If that is true, then the headset will be expensive but if new tech comes out... then all you need to do is buy a new headset instead of the console.
true but for now the products cater to two different markets.
I don't see Oculus rift coming to PS4/Xbox1 anytime soon, but I do see the PS4's VR PC compatible at some point.
If PC get's more headsets, than that means more competition which will result in lower prices for consumers. In the end, gamers win.
Crackdown, Saint Row 4 (just 4!), Archam City are valid competition.
To lesser degree City of Hero's/villains and DC universe online can be semi-comparable.
apples vs oranges
Kylie strutt and Nikki Rhodes (Coxxx) are pretty.
OH AND ZOEY NIXON!
Is game priced at the price of a full fledged game? Yes and No.
There are no set standards for how much content a game must have that is full price.
HOWEVER IN MY PERSON OPINION
I will never pay half or even full price for a 4-5 hour game. I LOVED heavenly sword but the game was only 5 hours long. I picked it up used for 75% off MSRP.
NOW
If more publishers decide to release games that only a few hours long a...
Hopefully whatever it is..it has more support than the Playstation move.
Also if VR means downgraded graphics to run the engine, then #%@#%#@%#@%#@% that.
To a degree, but remember the same game is on Xbox360.
Even if it was on PS4, it would still or "will" sell the most on Xbox360 since there are more 360's sold than ps4 and Xbox1's combined.
However, game can totally run on PS4 and maybe even the PS3 and WiiU.
I thought you had to have proof of purchase i.e. reciept of original copy?
I sware the DMCA has some kind of stupid clause now. I think a personal back-up is still authorized if it falls under fair use i.e. you don't share it.
However, it seems they keep amending the DMCA each year that it's hard to keep up on how they determine "Fair Use".
Of all the answers above - I think yours is a winner. It's probably a telekinetic power or something jedi related.
would make sense since I know Seattle is known for smelling like "teen spirit".
Power of poop.
Deslin can transform into Mr. Hanky and fast travel via the Seattle sewer system and kill via enemy suicide by constipation or projectile diarrhea.
....Yea, I went there.
How do you know Ubisoft won't include second screen options for the vita/cellphone/or Windows Tablet?
Example: Battlefield 4 and Assassin Creed 4.
I agree as I am concerned that the streets look lifeless.
My main gripe for GTA was that you rarely see an npc walk down the street in online. Let alone if you were in the game online and there was no player by you, you wouldn't see a vehicle spawn until you moved closer to the other players.
The only exception to this rule was during story-driven missions in regards to vehicles, but even then the streets are like a ghost town.
@morgan
But Jack has been with SCEA/Sony CE for nearly the whole time. I don't think he was forced out as generally is seen as a good PR guy.
I am sure Kaz liked him as well. Now the Sony boardmembers? No clue.
Nah.
He's been there a while and probably wants a bigger check.
Either that or personal reasons (like wanting to move to another state or parents are ill).
Great guy and 95% of the time he didn't BS like his counterparts for Nintendo and Microsoft.
If he acts bad does he go from grunge into hipster or even worse...Goth?
I hope they have leader boards on how evil you can become.
The Xbox1 has a higher bandwidth cap which is great for Single player games (or games not relying). Having the twitch programers help out is also a plus...
BUT!
Pretty damn sure that online streaming from games like Call of Duty or racers for that matter that pushing alot of Data (Battlefield 4 for example) are going to be compromised.
Unless they have the stream capped at ~15% of available bandwidth or simple tell users with slow connection...
True. I remember going to malls and playing VR Doom and Quake for 10 per 5 minutes of play.
Now if they can do a VR fighting game with motion, then I am sold.
