Commercial Suicide. They might as well as delay the update until later in May, hoping that GTa4 effect could wear off. This would be smarter, since some people would need a short break from GTa4 by then.
As much as I mention the downfalls, the mods do make this game worth a purchase. For anyone who is bored and has a day off, they should pick this up and explore the Mods that have been created.
From MasterChief, to 2-D game play and being able to practically moon jump and have slow motion matrix-esque battles really makes the game worth the 40$.
And home support is on the way. However what Epic has planned for home will be really interesting. I guess we will find out this ...
I agree with Lord Vader and here is why:
1)Lag, its still there and there are only a few good conections. I know it wasn't just "me" either.
2)FEW and I MEAN FEW servers with mods. If you are lucky to find one, you might be sh*t out of luck if they have mods you haven't gotten yet.
3)Mods again. Epic recently released a map pack on the PSN. Epic or Sony should do this with user created maps.... Yet...nothing.
4)Weapon Selection. T...

Epic mighht and I mean MIGHT include some Home functionality. And splitscreen is the last requested thing on thier list to do. They have to unlock a harddrive mod install option first.
I know mods are why Ut3 isn't dead.
Also how ironic how Epic screwed the PS3 fanbase by not making a splitscreen patch. Mark Rein said it was highly feasible.

This game will still sell well on the 360 since no great games besides Ninja Gaiden 2 will be out this summer. UT3 will be all by itself this summer as far as shooters go ( Battlefield Bad company sux IMO).

I have read every review, yet no reviewer really mentions it. Did splitscreen get cut? They mention Co-op but to what degree? Online or Local?

There is only so much you can do with attention to detail..
I remember critics going apesh** on Oblivion saying there were no bathrooms, no children, and only 1 type of fish in the game.
The game is still great by my standard and if you want attention to deal hydrolex you won't find it in Sandbox type games.

The new motion controller might be that infa-red tech that supposingly the the new PSeye can track.
The eye focuses just on the "item" The camera its self doesn't move just if players stay within the the visual radius it will track the X and Y and Z planes of travel.
