Considering a lot of people love online sooo much and Uncharted 2's online has the best online out of any story driven game I've played...
I haven't had any issues with Fallout, DoW II, Batman etc...
The only problem I've had is GTA not being able to get online... So I opened a couple ports so it would allow GFWL to do it's crap and presto no issues.
I could careless about GFWL but meh I haven't any many issues with it. And I do like it in some cases, makes it even easier for me to make a 360 gamer jealous who is so bent on the 360 contr and Live.
I'm glad its coming out in March 2010. Now I can enjoy Forza 3 and not feel like moron by the time GT5 comes out lol. Believe me I would have felt silly buying Forza 3 (out of desperation for a good racing sim) in Oct just for GT5 to come out 2 months later. Not that Forza is bad... I just don't like buying a game thats similar to another so close together.

Honestly I believe it may be easier for Sony to release PS4 compared to PS3. How soon will they do it? Not sure.
But for one, Blu Ray is still MORE than enough space so as for disc format they are fine, the Cell processor is powerful enough so really Cell Processor 2.0 or something like an upgraded higher clocked Cell Processor would probably work. Honestly the only overhaul needed would probably just be the GPU, other than that Sony probably just needs upgraded forms of the Cel...
I'm kind of surprised that the PC version looks quite a bit better than the PS3 version, I mean the PS3 version already looks amazing in the first place.
That said... I'm buying the PC version to play through and a used copy of the PS3 version for the Challenge rooms.
The way Game Crazy and GameStop works, a certain amt of copies of game X is sent to the store based on X amt of preorders for the game. This is one of the reasons why pre-orders are important to retail stores.
It is a possible that the shipment could have been sent out and they pre-ordered too late (just 2 days ahead of time) for those preorders to process before additional copies were sent WITH that shipment to that particular store location.
I thought the textures stood out for their time on PC. Plus on a good rig there wasn't nearly as many texture issues as the 360 version.
Though there was the occasional bland texture here in there, but thats any game, even Crysis has them maxed out, seriously.
I think Mass Effect looked outstanding on PC maxed out.
Good, need to flex my video cards muscle. Sims 3 and Plants VS Zombies aren't doin it lol.

Uhh online modes? No I said PSN and Xbox Live as a WHOLE. Not just modes... No they aren't the 'be all end all" but don't sit and here try to deny HD, a cohesive online community, trophies/achievments, downloadable content, hardrive disk, and tons of AA/AAA titles that can be found on PS3/360 (sometimes PC). All of those have majority of core gamers HOOKED.
I am NOT only talking about online, but Xbox Live has changed the game industry and most Xbox Live users are core gamer...
I would love a PC release. I bought GTA IV twice once on PS3 and then on PC once I bought a new beast of a rig. All it takes is DLC and I will be playing yet again.

I know plenty of used to be hardcore Nintendo fans who switched to 360/PS3 from Wii. I also know plenty of people who use 360 or PS3 as their main console and only occasionally use their Wii.
I mean really how could someone even try and deny that majority of Core gamers are addicted to Xbox Live/PlayStation Network and the dozens of perks that come with both?
It would be really awesome if... Some dev bundles a game demo/beta with an extremely popular game to boost sales and hype.
For example how Crackdown became a huge title because of the Halo 3 beta. And how Infamous players got to try out Uncharted 2.
I'd love to see similar strategies for PC.
